What was going to be a three week stay ended after 8 days. Huge bedbugs my wife has infected bites. The owner doesn't care at all. The motel is run down dirty beds. Broken pool. My one month old has bites. DON'T STAY HERE!

If you appreciate a piece of motoring history and can handle a slightly 'rough-around-the-edges' experience for a great value, this place is pretty cool and will support a local business owner. The mural on the wall behind the front desk shouldn't be missed; like going back to the golden era of road trips. After reading other reviews, we asked to... More

Some people gave this place "Bad Reviews". I don't know why. THERE WERE NO BED BUGS!!! My husband & I like the ambiance of the place. The woman(maybe the owner) we always saw her taking care of the place & the one who checked us in every time we've been there. She was such a sweetheart, singing & talking to... More

My family stayed there while relocating to wickenburg and during our stay i found this place to be unsanitary, the beds were hard , lumpy, smelly and already occupied by bed bugs... getting a clean towel and toilet paper was near impossible. enough was enough , after he refused our refund of the next week we had paid we movede... This is exactly what you think it is. A old 1950's motel. We found it to be charming, friendly, quiet and cheap. About $40 for a week night (jan 2011). There are issues, specifically the need to basically bring your own towels. However, there is unexpected free wifi, a fridge and microwave in each room. Other amenities are dated for... More

Its not fancy, but the location, price and style make this place a great stayover in Wickenburg. The rooms are clean and parking right outside your door brings back the old motor court days. We'd definately stay here again. Not for those expecting a 5 star resort by any means, but it has everything you'll need for a good night's... More

I'm not going to rave about the Westerner as some others have, but it was fine for the price (about $55 for four of us). If you're worried about thread counts and lots of extras, check elsewhere; the Westerner isn't for you. But if you simply want a clean place to sleep, it'll do. Its tile floors offer a bit... More

The Westerner Motel has been around for quite a while. It doesn't look like much from the outside. And, in fact, it really isn't very much. But, it retains the atmosphere of the old west and early days of car travel. The rooms are clean and have served there purpose for many previous travelers. Varsha Patel runs this place with... More

What a delightful surprise. This '50s motor court retains almost all of its original charm. If you like the big chains this is not the place for you. But if you want a super clean room with a TV, Micro and fridge you'll feel right at home. There is lso a small pool. What makes this place fantastic is the... More
