If you're visiting the south rim don't stay in the park, it's a rip off in every way. Yes you're closer to the rim but with a 15 minute drive from Tusayan and a little more organization, you're not far away at all and will save a lot of money for better quality accommodations. Red Feather is just an average... More

Check-in was quick and efficient---I was even asked if I had a preference for a room on the first or second floor. The room was nice, clean, roomy, quiet. The bed was very comfortable. With the close proximity to the only reason to be in Tusayan, that being the Grand Canyon, it was much more reasonable to stay there than... More

Like most people we picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Grand Canyon. Tusayan is one of the only towns close to the South entrance to the park. This hotel was VERY busy the Sunday night we checked in for a two night stay. There was no place to park and the front desk was swamped. Luckily they... More

The room is clean and roomy. It is an excellent value for a high traffic area. I'm on Wi-Fi now and it works fine. My two cousins and I are very pleased with the room and service and it's in a perfect location for frequent visits to the park.

With the Grand Canyon being next door and a grand neighbor she is, the lodge is a nice place to call home for a night. One tip would be to ask for the second floor if staying in the motel part, first floor received a great deal of walking noise from the second floor room.

It was OK. we stayed in the motel section of the property. Should maybe have stayed in hotel. Wi-Fi was non-existent unless you went to the lobby at hotel. We needed Wi-Fi service so was disappointed.

Stayed the night at the Red Feather Lodge after a day at the Grand Canyon. The lodge is very close to park entrance. Had breakfast in the connected restaurant. Very good tasty food. Great place to stay for the money. Everyone very friendly and room is very clean. Like the idea that it is family owned and operated for 40... More

It's not in Grand Canyon Village but is only a short drive away. This is not a smart or particularly modern hotel but that didn't matter to us. We had a lovely, comfortable and spacious room which was spotlessly clean, the staff were very helpful and there was even free coffee and fruit in the lobby.

My husband and I stayed in Red Feather Lodge 1 night only. We checked in on the 29th of September '14. Room was nice, big, clean. We spent a day in Grand Canyon and we were looking forward to go to bed. We could hear literally EVERY word our neighbour would say. Finally they went to sleep. So did we... More

I spent 2 nights here on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. All the places within the park were sold out and I found a reasonably priced room here. The guy at the front desk was extremely helpful in giving me advice for a great place to see the sunset and sunrise over the canyon. He was great. My... More
