The lodge is simple but not bad, with a nice lobby and reasonably spacious and enjoyable rooms (especially if you are placed at ground floor and have not to carry your bags on the stairs). Breakfast can be had in one of the places just outside the hotel. The area is not really live at night but is the right... More

The place is clean and it fulfil well its function. The price stays high because you have to take the car to go to the Grand Canyon and it offers classic rooms. But if you can't book a room in the park : don't worry, Tusayan is a good alternative ! You will find restaurants, hotels, services, perfect after a... More

This is a motel, just be clear on that. It is three or more different buildings and the pictures on the profile are of the main new building. Nothing special but it us clean. The pool is tiny, but there is hot tub, and they were clean. It is not supervised though, and when we were there we ended up... More

We stayed two nights at Red Feather on our tour of the NP's. The location is the best thing about this hotel/motel, its on the main highway and you are in to the canyon in about 15 mins. Our room wasn't in the best location of the motel (probably the worst to be honest, around the back next to the... More

Tusayan is the village at the entrance of the Grand Canyon with nothing to do except the imax but a variety of restaurants. Red Feather is a good Motel and for $150 a night you have a clean room and a pretty good service Wifi really struggles on busy hour and there is no breakfast included. To ne recommended for... More

We stayed 2 nights to discover the GC.. It's about 15-20 minutes drive from and to the GC. The lodge was ok nothing to complain only the heating was making a lot of noise! Be aware at night it can get cold outside! The lodge is in the center of Tusayan easy to find as it is on the main... More

Excellent staff, nice rooms, small but nice pool. Ideal when you visit the Grand Canyon: it's close, but not in the park (and thus cheaper). Tusayan is a collection of hotels, restaurants and liquor stores - nothing to experience there. But who needs more, with the Grand Canyon close by?

The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpfull people at the desk, they provide lots of information abouth de Grand Canyon and the shuttle bus, which stops near the hotel. The pool is in a corner of the parking lot, not inviting to go there.

After using many hotel search engines for hotels in Tusayan I was disheartened by the ridiculously high prices for 2 to 3 star hotels AUD$380-$500, finding the Red Feather lodge who do their bookings independently online, I thought I had struck gold. Not only was it at least 1/3 to 1/2 cheaper , it looked very well presented and had... More
