Our room was clean and nice. The front desk folks were friendly and the beds were comfortable. The room was quiet enough. Price was ok for the area. Would stay here again next time we visit the Grand Canyon.

The Red Feather Lodge offers a clean, reasonably economic and very convenient accommodation when visiting the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, giving great advice about the Canyon, tours and restaurants. They also booked a (discounted) helicopter tour of the Canyon for us with Maverick Tours, which was a definite highlight!

The hotel is nice, its pretty clean, and reasonably quiet. My and my new girlfriend's issue is with the bathroom. There is no fan in the bathroom and no ventilation to disperse the air. My GF stayed in the bathroom for 30 mins until she was confident the air was breathable, and then she sheepishly came out quickly closing the... More

Stayed here on a recent visit to the Grand Canyon because they allowed dogs. The place was empty but had to stay in the old motel part because of our dogs. They put the only three guests staying there right next to each other, even though the place was empty so we could hear every little coming or going, waking... More

I stayed here for one night while touring the Grand Canyon and I had a mediocre experience. The hotel is near the park and it does offer pretty cheap room rates but it isn't anything special. The rooms were clean and basic, however the hotel staff could've been friendlier. When we arrived, they definitely didn't make us feel welcome. The... More

Red Feather lodge is conveniently located just few minutes away from the entrance to Grand Canyon national park. Its a basic hotel just like if you are looking a place to sleep with roof on your head. There is no breakfast in the hotel. You get 10% discount coupon if you want to have breakfast in a mexican restaurant in... More

My friend, dog and I were travelling around the west Thnaksgiving week. I couldn't find a sitter, for my dog, so she was on the trip with us, and we had to stay at places that would accept dogs. The Red Feather Lodge was all we could find by the Grand Canyon. This was the most expensive place on the... More

The Red Feather Lodge has two buildings, a hotel style building where the reception is located and right behind a two story motel style bulding. I was staying in the motel style building and the room was spacious and clean. Generally the hotel is nice with some free coffee/tea in the lobby. Unfortunately the lobby staff is quite unfriendly and... More

we were nor seeking for a hotel to enjoy the facilities, just a bed close to the grand canyon and this was more than achieved. The rooms are clean but they have a lot of rooms with twins beds. People on the reception were extremely kind.

We booked the Red Feather Lodge at the last minute, so we had no idea of what we had done. In the past it hasn't worked out so well, but we were desperate for a room. The Lodge was only 1 mile from the entrance to the Grand Canyon (south rim ). When we got there we were pleasantly surprised.... More
