Not much choice when you visit the Grand Canyon South Rim. Grand about this hotel is the lobby, the souvenir shop, the restaurant - with a depressive atmosphere but acceptable food - and that's it. The rooms are ok but in urgent need of refurbishment since more than 5 million people visit this place every year. And they are depressive... More

The entrance and lobby are the only two things that were correct on the website. The carpets in the hallway were filthy - if you wore your socks they would stick to the carpet, the room was disappointing - cracked drywall, dirty walls - not sure when the last time the walls were cleaned or repaired, carpet in room was... The entrance is beautiful... The lobby is beautiful... The staff very nice, but the room left a lot to be desired. Not worth anything near what we paid. Little attention to detail. There was paint on the window screens and the tub from the last paint job. Towels in the bathroom were dirty and tattered. One redeeming quality is that... More

We stayed here two night in early October. It was nice and clean and very close to the Grand Canyon. We didn't want to sit in the restaurant as there was a singer in there singing cowboy music. It was terrible. We enjoyed the bar for dinner and Ashley was awesome. Thanks Ashley. You were great. I would stay here... More

We stayed for one night as part of our honeymoon tour and thought the hotel was ideal. We had arrived to see the sunset over the canyon which I would recommend, then checked in. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel reception was actually quite quaint. Granted the rooms are looking a bit tired but overall a good stopover.... More

I booked this hotel months in advance. Not really knowing the area, I thought this hotel was a good choice. Turned out the only good thing about this hotel was it is very close to the entrance to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This hotel is overpriced and it has a horrible restaurant in the lobby. Don't waste... More

We thought the hotel room was nice, better then the one we had at the MGM grand The service was good. The hot tub was nice to have after a long hike The only thing bad was the resturaunt was under staffed. And every place in town was expensive We would stay there again

I could not reserve a hotel room in the Grand Canyon. So I had to find one nearest the park. I chose this one. It was just a regular hotel. Clean and big enough to stay for three nights. The restaurant was operationally not so great but tasted all right.

My title speaks it all. It is a Motel even though it said Hotel. The rooms were very standard motel quality and they were overpriced. The only upside to staying here is the easy access to Grand Canyon.

I don't take the time to write many reviews because I find that most of them are from people that look for all the bad in everything they do! but after reading most of them about this location i decided to give my take on this hotel. we arrived on the 24th of September 2014 and found the service to...
