My wife and I stayed in the Grand Hotel in April of 2014 with our six month old son. Overall, I was not pleased with our stay and attempted to address these concerns with the hotel during our stay (as their previous Tripadvisor comments requested hotel guests do) and was not given any reasonable response. Additionally, I contacted the Grand... More

The outside of the hotel has been updated and looks nice but the rooms are in need of some upgrading. Only soap in the room was in the containers on the wall in the shower. There were small holes in the curtains and the armchair was badly worn. One front desk lady and receptionist at the restaurant could use some... More

We stayed here for 2 nights the last week of March. The bed linens were either not washed or extremely worn or both. The carpet was also very grungy. My husband booked through Expedia and the rate was $30 more per night than if we had booked directly through the hotel. ( I discovered this when checking out.). Even the... More

This hotel was such a huge disappointment. We had a week long driving trip through Arizona and we had stayed at a few hotels. First of all, this hotel from the photos seemed *much* nicer than it was. Also - it's not close to the park. It's miles away from the National Park gate taking you into the park. Also,... More

Pool looked dirty and didn't look like it was properly cleaned. No bath ropes provided, only towels with no bin for dirty towels, so lots of kids and guests were just throwing their used ones back on the clean rack. Heater/AC in the rooms is manual, it either heating all room until it is cooked or freezes it. Hair drier... More

We truly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Grand Hotel. The lobby, dining area and our room was clean, modern and felt warm and cozy...which we needed as it snowed 3" during our April visit. Great place to stay close to the canyon but away from the crowds

A very nice hotel, clean comfortable rooms. Wifi & free coffee in the room. Great location as we were going to the Grand Canyon. The hotel was over priced because of location We were required to make a reservation for dinner... The restaurant was empty so we ate elsewhere. Nice gift shop.

I thought I was treating my family to a more unique experience by choosing The Grand Hotel over the Holiday Inn across the street, but I was bitterly disappointed. I am not a clean freak, but when you are walking to your room that you paid $50 more than the trusted competition and it looks like the carpets LITERALLY have... More

So, staying for one night, just in time for bed, and leaving early in the morning this place worked well for us. Clean and a comfortable bed with wifi included. The town offers all the amenities you will need to stock up on.

There is nothing particularly special about this hotel except its location close to the Grand Canyon National Park. It is clean and well cared for, beds were comfortable, the front desk staff was quite helpful and friendly. It is a bit pricey, but then we felt like everything in this area was expensive - it is a prime tourist area... More
