Pool looked dirty and didn't look like it was properly cleaned. No bath ropes provided, only towels with no bin for dirty towels, so lots of kids and guests were just throwing their used ones back on the clean rack. Heater/AC in the rooms is manual, it either heating all room until it is cooked or freezes it. Hair drier... More

We truly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Grand Hotel. The lobby, dining area and our room was clean, modern and felt warm and cozy...which we needed as it snowed 3" during our April visit. Great place to stay close to the canyon but away from the crowds

A very nice hotel, clean comfortable rooms. Wifi & free coffee in the room. Great location as we were going to the Grand Canyon. The hotel was over priced because of location We were required to make a reservation for dinner... The restaurant was empty so we ate elsewhere. Nice gift shop.

I thought I was treating my family to a more unique experience by choosing The Grand Hotel over the Holiday Inn across the street, but I was bitterly disappointed. I am not a clean freak, but when you are walking to your room that you paid $50 more than the trusted competition and it looks like the carpets LITERALLY have... More

So, staying for one night, just in time for bed, and leaving early in the morning this place worked well for us. Clean and a comfortable bed with wifi included. The town offers all the amenities you will need to stock up on.

There is nothing particularly special about this hotel except its location close to the Grand Canyon National Park. It is clean and well cared for, beds were comfortable, the front desk staff was quite helpful and friendly. It is a bit pricey, but then we felt like everything in this area was expensive - it is a prime tourist area... More

Beautiful lobby and great location to the Canyon. Rooms were adequate. Restaurant was okay. If you are going to the Grand Canyon, I assume that location is a top priority. This place seems to have the most character of the few hotels in this town outside the gate.

The outside looks way better than the inside, pretty outdated rooms but the bed was comfortable enough and the staff was very pleasant. Kinda overpriced and the restaurant attached to it had horrible breakfast service. Would try to stay in the park next time though.

Disappointed in the overall service and amenities. Tried to eat in the Canyon Star restaurant twice but couldn't even get a hostess to come to the desk after waiting over 5 minutes each time. Finally went to the saloon the third night and had a wonderful meal served by the bartender, Ashlee. To be fair, the rooms are comfortable and... More

The thing about a place like Tusayan, the factor which must be taken into account when considering the price / quality juxtaposition, is this: to all intents & purposes the town exists solely to serve tourist traffic to the Grand Canyon. Tusayan is at the end of the road. Everything has to be brought in by truck, bus or pack... More
