We stayed at this hotel in early January and really enjoyed our time there. The access to the South Rim was great and we really benefited from visiting off season. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were large and very clean. The hotel offered ample parking. Although bowling/ pool facilities were listed we weren't actually able to use either... More

The front desk and housekeeping service was really above average to many of the Best Westerns I have stayed at. They have a really nice gift shop and the prices were much better than the souvenir shops in town. Their breakfast buffet was lacking. We ate there the first day then ended up at Mcdonalds for the rest of our... More

Great quality hotel offering easy access to the South Rim. You have to pay the 'Grand Canyon Premium' to stay here, but not the ridiculous mark-up of GC Village. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast (free when we booked it, but note that you now you pay extra!)

Haven't stayed in any of the other hotels in Tusayan but having stayed at the BW in Williams the night before, this one was disappointing in comparison. No free breakfast and the hotel itself is an odd jam-up of buildings. Our room was in an "out building" and frankly, I was concerned when I entered it because the interior walls... More

We had friends from Africa who wanted to visit Grand Canyon in May and I booked this Hotel in February. I love that the location was just a mile from the entrance and that the canyon is open 24 hours. We did not have any problems during our stay. We enjoyed a heavy, well balanced breakfast before heading to the... More

We had a room in one of the surrounding buildings. The room was very small, the bathroom so tiny, the toilet was stuck against the wall and you had to stick your face against it to flush, truly awful. The redeeming feature of the hotel is the front desk staff and the wonderful breakfast staff. We thought the breakfast was... More

I'm a hotel snob and we were staying at a Best Western? I loved this place. Easy to park, the check-in staff were very helpful, the room was huge, well appointed (extra large tub which was a necessity after a 24 mile hike) and quiet. We discovered our car battery had died overnight but the hotel maintenance staff were very... More

I believe that Tusayan as a whole is a ripoff. The staff was top notch - very friendly and helpful. The property is a tad old, but the room was very nice. The shower curtain smelled of mold, though. I also did not expect to have to pay for a roll-a-way.

Stayed here while on vacation in the Grand Canyon in April 2015. Typical chain hotel although a little overpriced. This hotel is under renovation and has many different buildings along with the main hotel. We were given a room in one of the other buildings. Older building, in need of renovating. In fact, they were renovating the outside as there... More

As part of a trip around Arizona we fulfilled a long held ambition to visit the Grand Canyon. After researching through trip advisor we decided not to stay in the park itself, but just outside it. This hotel came recommended by a friend. If you are not staying in the park then this hotel is perfectly situated only a few... More
