We booked this hotel through the travel agency. At the reception the agent gave us the information and in a minute we know where was the room. Not a warm welcome but quick. We didn't feel us comfortable there. The room didn't have any windows, just inside room. The ventilation outside the room was noisy. The hotel is well situated... More

As other guests stated, this is more of a motel than a resort. Very dated but room was clean. No refrigerator in room, air conditioner didn't work, and no breakfast provided. For the price charged, more services should have been included. The room price was basically double what it should have been.

The hotel itself was okay. Great location right outside Grand canyon south entrance and the staff was friendly. But we paid over $250 for one night for one room and the room was not even close to the front desk. Way too pricy in my opinion. And don't eat inside the hotel. We had the dinner buffet and it was... Reading the ratings on Tripadvisor, I was not really expecting a good experience at the Canyon Plaza Resort. I was travelling with my family and stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, we were given probably the cheapest (and worst) room on the hotel. This cannot be blamed the Hotel, as it was pre-booked by my travel agent, which probably profited... More

There's nothing overly awesome about this hotel, but if you're looking for a place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon, I would recommend this place. Pros Pet friendly Nice sized, clean rooms Local restaurants and stores within walking distance Grand Canyon shuttle nearby Cons The room definitely gets very bright, very early. Hard to sleep in which can be... More

Nice clean and reasonably priced ... Convenient to the Grand Canyon and near all local restaurants, etc...there are only limited options in town but you won't be disappointed ... Pool spa , breakfast not included but they do have a nice restaurant ... We'll run and nice staff

We enjoyed our stay at the Canyon Plaza Resort and wished we were staying longer than one night. The rooms were comfy and warm despite the sub-zero (degrees C) temperatures outside. The jacuzzi in the indoor central area was great although it was a chilly dash back to the room after via the outside stairwell. The highlight for me was... More

Very nice stay at the Canyon Plaza Resort. Our room was spacious for this class of hotel, with a sitting area, and a sliding door for privacy separating the sleeping area with two queen beds. Two a/c units allow for cooling both areas. Many places to eat, shop, and walk by the hotel. Imax theater and pink jeep tours adjacent... More

This hotel is located close to the Grand Canyon. The room was nice and big, with comfy beds. Great internet, nice gift shop(does not sell stamps though), and super location. The food was very expensive though. The McDonald's across the street was outrageous! The are 5x more than a normal McDonald's and I am not kidding! Avoid this place. The... More

We (my partner and our daughter) stayed here as part of the package organised by out travel agent. It's extremely handy for visiting the Grand Canyon. We has a small suite, comprising a sitting area, bathroom and bedroom. There was also an additional vanity area outside the bathroom, which was useful. The air-con was noisy, and you either had the... More
