This is basically a motel geared up to support tour groups stopping overnight before or after visiting the Grand Canyon. The room we were assigned had been recently refurbed by the look of it and was clean and comfortable. It is interesting design in that there are two doors, one to the car park and one to the atrium. We... More

We booked a Junior Studio suite - in Feb, and paid approx $240 via Expedia. Was expecting a pretty good room, especially since it had 2 doubles and a sofa bed. However was pretty disappointed with what we got, which was not much better than other double rooms, and while it was clean and tidy it was old and pretty... More

Stayed here one night on our recent trip to the Grand Canyon. And I "WILL" not be staying here ever again. It was the worst $300 a night room I have ever been in. Stayed in a king bed suite. And the only thing suite about this room was the sugar packets in the complimentary coffee fixins. Which I'm not... More

I can not share negativ reviews,as our experience was very good. We stayed only one night in a suite. Room Very large with an seperate sitting and TV area, clean (Bath as well),coffee maker. Free wifi, inroom safe deposit box very comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and polite, restaurant in some distance of our room, but very good buffet dinner.... More

If you want to be this close to the Grand Canyon, Tusayan is gonna charge a premium for its hotels. The Canyon Plaza is not a resort, I agree, but people are giving reviews that I disagree with. The room we have is huge (room 153 on the ground floor), the bed and linens are comfortable, parking is easy, the... More

After booking this hotel at the last minute and then reading the reviews, we were very hesitant to see what our room looked like. We were pleasantly surprised! Our check in went smoothly and the desk agent was very friendly. We found our room easily (3001) and when we entered, it was much larger than we expected. We stayed in... More

We didn't eat here because we were put off by other people's reviews but the room was really lovely. The room was one of the best of our trip and we've been in America on Route 66 for 3 weeks and have stayed in plenty of hotels! This was in my top 3. Really pretty inside lights and hot tub... More

Our reservation print out calls this place "Grand Canyon Premier Studio and Apartments" and our room was described as "Deluxe Studio with balcony". Total fabrication. We were charged over $200 for what apparently was an unfinished room cheaply furnished. You should check out the pictures I posted. The furniture was uncomfortable cheap wooden stuff that might be patio furniture. We... More

The person at the front desk could hardly speak english and the hotel is super noisy. We had room 152 on the first floor and as a result, if you make the mistake of not trying one of the other hotels in town, i would suggest that you stay on the third floor, hoping it would be better. I completely... More

I found that many random places use the word 'resort' with too much free reign. This is definitely not a resort in any way. It is just another inn that nickles and dimes you whenever they can. The restaurant was even worse. We got in for breakfast some minutes after the buffet service, so we had to buy a meal.... More
