We decided to go visit GC the day before.
None of the other hotels were available in the busy summer season.

We called 7 mile lodge first but nobody answered.
The fact was that this never accepts phone or internet reservation!.
We checked-in around 3pm, but all rooms were sold-out at 5pm.

5 minutes drive to the south gate, some restaurants and calm neighborhood, the room was nice and clean, the price was reasonable. ($80-85 per night)

Would recommend this for a group with no hotel reservation! more

We arrived at GC on a Friday with no hotel reservation. All hotel rates were quite high for our budget: between 170 and 210 $ plus tax. Before driving down to Williams we decided to check the rates at the 7 mile lodge, even if from the outside it does not really look as “inviting” as the competitors in the surroundings. We asked to have a look at the room first and…we took it! Tidy, clean (also the bathroom), smelling pleasant. The furniture is not the newest, but still ok. TV available, but no fridge or other accessories. With 85$ per night (breakfast not included) the 7 Mile Lodge is at GC good value for money. more
