We arrived after booking a room 6 weeks prior (tired after a long drive), to find that the system was down and we couldn't be checked into our room. Even though I presented my booking form which had booking confirmed on it. There were no other available hotels in town for that night either. We were told that we had... More

The hotel is directly at the highway 169, so if you are traveling to the Grand Canyon South Rim either from Monument Valley direction or from the North Rim (and don't want to make your way through to Flagstaff) this place is good for a stop. The hotel has an excellent venue with big, comfy rooms, a heated outside pool... More

While my friends and I traveled around the Southwest, we stayed in many different hotels. Since we didn't know where we would be each night, we were pleased to find Moenkopi Legacy a welcome relief from a day of driving and touring. The lobby was open and hospitable. The service was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, spacious,... More

We had just gone through Monument Valley. We stayed here before going to the Grand Canyon the next day. We booked on line and were a little concerned about the cost. But it seemed like all hotels were expensive. After staying here we decided it was worth every penny of it. We usually stay in better hotels when we travel.... More

The Moenkopi Legacy is a beautiful facility in Tuba City AZ on the main drag between Kayenta and the Grand Canyon's South Rim. The room we were issued was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The king bed was very restful, especially after the completion of our 320 mile excursion that day from Cortez CO. As it was late in season... More

I don't really have a problem with the no alcohol policy, but I didn't like that I wasn't notified of it until the whole check-in routine was completed. We were tired and just drove through a dust storm so at that point we just said OK even though it wasn't. The pool and hot tub looked very nice but we... More

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting the Indian nations or travelling from the Grand Canyon to Moab areas. Service was very professional on our visit. Our room was spacious and comfy with plenty of outlets for our electronic devices and Seattles' Best coffee in the room. Air conditioner/heater worked very well. They have designed the rooms... More

After visiting Monument Valley, went to Tuba City and stayed at the Moenkopi Inn. Overall, it is a very good hotel by any standard, much less in such a remote location. The hotel has amazing Native American architecture, super friendly staff and very attractive and clean rooms. There is an outdoor pool, a good continental breakfast, and there are sitting... More

Have been on an extended stay in the Moenkopi Inn & Suites for business and pleasure, and find it to be absolutely fantastic! The staff is friendly, the rooms spacious and beautifully adorned with comfortable beds, plenty of living space and a top quality bathroom. The hotel has a great hot tub and swimming pool, which we use almost daily.... More
