I am a bit confused after reading the previous reviews about Apache Lake! I have been going there for many years and love it every time!! Granted you will find critters being in the middle of a desert! Food in the restaurant is amazing.....service is exeptional! The lake is absolutely beautiful..... Great weekend getaway I give two thumbs and four... More

We stayed a week at the older kitchenette rooms. The rooms came with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. I have to say that the rooms are older but what do you expect people. The staff were out of this world friendly. As for the trash, this was left by the people who visited the lake, so shame on you... More

This was our fourth stay in six years and the property continues to decline. Staff is friendly and helpful; but the physical plant is a disaster. Garbage and trash litter the entire property, pet feces are all around the walkways. Exterior and interior lights are burned out, the linens are old, stained and poorly cleaned. Windows are broken and covered... More

This place is terrible. The lake is beautiful, but it doesn't make up for this resort. The resort is so rundown it's depressing. If you go to the website under faq's it will give you some idea of the problems here. "Why is my room not in the best of shape?" "What are these stains on the carpet?" "Why are... More

Took my husband for his birthday we were staying only one day he wanted to fish all day and one day out of the year why not, the unpaved road getting there was ridiculous but kept saying once we get there all will be great yeah right the so called resort was no resort at all the whole time all... Had planned big family friend gathering over the 4th of July, many reviews were horrible. What a wonderful surprise we got. Yes, the rooms are simple, and the beds truly need upgrading, but they were more than adequate. Perfect location. We were in 216, I can only speak for me, but all in our party were more than satisfied. The... More

First, i will say the trip up the mountain was beautiful! The lake itself and the views are stunning and well worth the trip. However, be prepared for "glorified camping" in this resort. This "resort" is by far, the trashiest place I've ever stayed! Room was dirty, lamp shades barely hanging on, sheets were stained and probably 20 years old,... More

First off the fact that they call this a "resort" well the joke is on you. I've been coming here for 20+ years. It just gets worse and worse every year. The reason I keep returning every year is because it's one of the most beautiful lakes in Arizona. It's truly heart breaking how neglected and rundown the "resort" is.... More

I have been coming to Apache Lake for the past 15 years. The lake is beautiful and not crowded. It is a great place to spend time on the water with family and friends. Now on to the resort. It is unkept, and managed very poorly. Once you realize this you can make adjustments. I now take my own cleaning... More

We called the marina ahead of our visit and was told they had "boats" for rent. We arrived the next day and got our room at the hotel and went to rent a boat for a couple days of fishing. No boats. They only have 1 boat total for rent and it was already rented. Luckily it was only for... More
