This is an old motel that has not been kept up. You get the basics room, bed, bath, skimpy towels. "Maid service" consists of someone coming by and throwing in some towels, hopefully clean. But it is the only place to stay in the beautiful area so just do not expect much and you can enjoy the incredible surroundings. The... More

We have wonderful memories of family bonding and growth♡ The lodging is a perfect for the setting. Majestic Mountains, surrounded by desert landscape, beautiful wildlife, and a large body of water. We grilled outside of the motel rooms and gathered our family of 3 generations to create memories along with life bonding friendships♡

Lake Apache is beautiful and it is so unfortunate that there aren't more lodging options. The motel is so dirty. Hands down the worst I've stayed in. The towels and all the linens in the place were stained and looked questionable. If I had to stay here again, I would bring my own bedding to lay on top. We asked... More

I am a bit confused after reading the previous reviews about Apache Lake! I have been going there for many years and love it every time!! Granted you will find critters being in the middle of a desert! Food in the restaurant is amazing.....service is exeptional! The lake is absolutely beautiful..... Great weekend getaway I give two thumbs and four... More

We stayed a week at the older kitchenette rooms. The rooms came with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. I have to say that the rooms are older but what do you expect people. The staff were out of this world friendly. As for the trash, this was left by the people who visited the lake, so shame on you... More

This was our fourth stay in six years and the property continues to decline. Staff is friendly and helpful; but the physical plant is a disaster. Garbage and trash litter the entire property, pet feces are all around the walkways. Exterior and interior lights are burned out, the linens are old, stained and poorly cleaned. Windows are broken and covered... More

This place is terrible. The lake is beautiful, but it doesn't make up for this resort. The resort is so rundown it's depressing. If you go to the website under faq's it will give you some idea of the problems here. "Why is my room not in the best of shape?" "What are these stains on the carpet?" "Why are... More

Had planned big family friend gathering over the 4th of July, many reviews were horrible. What a wonderful surprise we got. Yes, the rooms are simple, and the beds truly need upgrading, but they were more than adequate. Perfect location. We were in 216, I can only speak for me, but all in our party were more than satisfied. The... More

First, i will say the trip up the mountain was beautiful! The lake itself and the views are stunning and well worth the trip. However, be prepared for "glorified camping" in this resort. This "resort" is by far, the trashiest place I've ever stayed! Room was dirty, lamp shades barely hanging on, sheets were stained and probably 20 years old,... More
