We stayed here for 3 nights and while it has a lot of positives, I can't recommend it. Property/Location: The property itself is lovely. It's right on the lake with a spot to hang out and play pool on the beach (no swimming too polluted). There's a cool lounge area by the restaurant as well as hammocks in front of... More

After staying here two times for a couple of nights, our review: - The place is generally on a very nice location, at the water with views on the mountains - the set up of the facility is great, room, bar, restaurant, pool table, video library - unfortunately the place is very loud, from their own bar they start playing... My sisters and I took a trip to Guatemala for a week. We had booked a hotel in Panajachel but came to San Pedro our first night and couldn't get a boat back so we stayed at Casa Blanca. We liked the location and the hostel so much that we came back to stay there Sunday night. The location is... More

I'm not staying here but in a hotel up the road and can hear trance music blaring from their place from about 2pm so if that's your kind of thing, go for it. And when I mean blaring I'm not talking about what your parents would say when you were a teenager, I mean surprising for someone whos had their... More

The hostel is located in an amazing spot, by the lake. The main problem in my opinion is that he is much more expensive than the other hostels in San Pedro. We paid for private room with a bath room inside the room 140Q (about 17.5$) per night while the others hostels offer cheaper rooms. But still we enjoyed the... More

From the moment we stepped foot into Casa Blanca we felt at home. Arik and his family were just devine and told us about all the best places to visit snd what we should be paying (so we wouldndt get taken advantage of). Their hospitality was like no other that we experienced in Guatemala. My husband and I were on... More

Fantastic year old establishment with warm owners and for 50q a night per person for a lake view, i didnt want to leave! The owners have bought their Mediterranean touch to the food which is hearty and tasty. Its a perfect place to relax and the staff are more than helpful with everyneed.
