I can't say enough thing about this hotel. The views are magnificent, the food at the restaurant was fantastic (also healthy, and reasonably priced). The customer service rivals that of a 4-star hotel in a large city. Having said that, this place is not fancy - it's not meant to be, given the setting. Santa Cruz is a quiet village... More

I titled this "Great Find" because we did not expect to find a good lodging in this area of Laguna. We were just too exhausted from a long drive so my girlfriend and I stayed here. We just tried it out, we planned to stay for a night. On our first night, we were stunned by the lake view. Also,... More

Thank you very much for your nice review! I believe our hotel is one of the best and based in one of the best lake location! We have taken care of the bugs and/or wall spiders that you spotted in your room it is a bit difficult to have them all ayaw from nature specially having a great large garden!... More

We loved staying here. We had room 3 which is definitely the best with its own terrace and perfect lake views. It's very quiet and relaxing. The staff are all lovely and the food was excellent. However it may not be for everyone. As mentioned by others there are a lot of bugs and spiders around and it is by... More

Fab views, lovely staff. Good deal with their evening meal. The manager went out or his way to create a veggie option for me one evening as nothing seemed available. Good sized rooms with charming garden area.

We felt so welcomed at Arca de Noe. It's a perfect spot with stunning lake views and beautifully maintained flowers everywhere. The rooms were immaculate, the bed very comfortable, the shower hot. Although there were other options, we dined at the hotel almost every meal because the food was excellent. It was easy to walk along the shore to go... More

The food is good and the place is nice. They have WiFi which my place did not have, so I used to have breakfast there. One day I decided to have dinner there with friends. You have to sign up two hours in advance. When I did and was about to leave, suddenly the indigenous lady came and asked for... More

Initially we were a little bit concerned by the lack of restaurants and bars in this part of the lake and though we might have been better off in San Pedro or Pana. However having seen all of the towns around the lake we realised that there is no other place where you can wake up to the most amazing... More

We were amazed with the location, right off the public dock at Santa Cruz la Laguna, which made travel to and from very easy. The new owner has done quite a bit of work with the property, managing beautiful gardens and updating the bungalows. We were in Bungalow 3 and have to say we think it was the best view... More

I've found it difficult to get a good night's sleep in Guatemala, with stray dogs barking, motorcycles, and fireworks going off at all hours of the night. This is not the case in Santa Cruz, however, as it's cut off from the rest of the world (no road access). The hotel is a set of little bungalos on the side... More

The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable enough, and the location is nice being right next to the lake. What makes this place really special, though, is the staff. So welcoming and friendly and not just in a buisnesslike way. The meal we ate here was really fantastic and worth the relatively high price for Guatemalan standards. Probably the best... More
