If you have a taste for adventure, appreciate the sounds, smells, and sights of the outdoors, love the sun and the ocean, and want to make some new friends, Corcovado Tent Camp is definitely the place to be. Moreover, the food is delicious, the staff knowledgeable and helpful, and the spot on Drake Bay is a remote paradise! I snorkeled,... more

This was my 3rd visit to the camp. Each time with monkeys, fishing, dolphins and snorkeling. This time I didn't see any sharks while snorkeling but the last 2 times I did. (small ones but exciting never-the-less). This time we saw the Humpback whales, including a mother and baby, which we stayed in the vacinity (50-200mts) of for about an... more

Our family of 10 all stayed at the tent camp. My husband is allergic to fish and they always accomodated all our needs with no problem. Breynar was a wonderful guide on all our trips! The staff is all so friendly and polite. I was concerned about the fact we would be without electricity, that was not a problem once... more

If you want to give a life changing experience to your children or grandchildren, the Corcovado Adventure Tent Camp is the way to do it. Great variety of adventures from snorkeling 101 to canopy zip line to rain forest appreciation for all ages. We were 70 year-olds down to 8-year olds, and it we all loved it. As one of... more

We were greeted at the beach arrival point by the owner(Larry) What a nice, friendly guy! His camp is in an amazing location were the jungle meets the sea. We had 3 great meals every day, simple, healthy and flavorful. Corcovado/ Osa Peninsula is a great place to view wildlife. We saw wild Scarlet Macaws as soon as we walked... more

My boyfriend and I just cam back from spending a week at the Tent Camp. We arrived on a boat from Sierpe which was an adventure in itself, 45 minutes down the Sierpe river mangroves and along the coast, arriving by beach landing. Our tent was right on the beach, rustic, comfortable with our own private deck facing the ocean.... more

We planned a ten day vacation to Costa Rica. In search of a little adventure, and itching to get out of our current digs (a disappointing two night stay in Playa Zancudo), our host directed us to Larry's Corcovado Adventure Tent Camp. With specific instruction from Larry, and many neurotic questions patiently answered later, we made our from Playa Zancudo... more

This is a beautiful location, unfortunately the accommodation and service left a lot to be desired. The tents were mouldy, the showers and toilets were in a bad state and not particularly clean. As this place is marketed as "luxury camping" we did not expect the cold showers, rotten tent bases etc. The food was substandard, and on at least... more

What can I say about a tent camp on a site that reviews hotels? Set on the Osa Peninsula, one of the few truly wild jungle areas in the Western Hemisphere, the camp has everything you need, but in a different way. There are no electric lines, so a generator runs a couple of hours a day to store electricity... more

This tent camp was a horrible disappointment. We stayed there under several false promises (for example, there were NO snacks available - free or otherwise). The tents smelled awful and were very moldy. I had my daughter sleep on towels we had brought so she would not develop an allergic reaction. The cook smoked cigarettes while cooking and the lack... more
