This is a friendly place and we spent three very happy days there. The inn is reachable only by boat, but it boasts the only "dry landing" on the peninsula. We were welcomed warmly and assigned a beautiful cabin high up the hill. Every meal was a gourmet experience. Guests sat at long tables, which encouraged interaction. We made friends.... More

We came to Aguila De Osa for a quick get away to relax and experience Costa Rica. The staff here was kind and friendly, the food was so good we had no reason to eat anywhere else. ( I can't express enough how incredible the food was) the rooms are cute little bungalows set up in the jungle, there were... More

The journey here via road (to Sierpe) or via plane (to Drake Bay) both end in a boat ride which symoblises that this is well off the beaten track. And this place is magnificent. The setting, with all the rooms looking out to the ocean through the forest is wonderful. Of course you will go to Corcovado and Cano island... More

My husband and two children (15 and 10) were incredibly fortunate to stay at this incredible spot away from everything just us and the animals and the most beautiful view of the ocean! I can't say enough great things about Auguila. The beauty of the property itself or the folks that work there- they are so friendly and helpful and... More

Me and my husband spent three nights in this beautiful place and would have liked to stay many more..Note that you can reach the hotel only by boat. We left the car in Sierpe and took the boat from there, it costs 25$ per person (reservation needed). If you arrive you will feel that this place is something really special.... More

My wife and I spent a week at the Aguila de Osa and loved it. The accommodations were beautiful and spacious. The large wrap around deck gave us a birds eye view of the forest where we watched the bay, the birds, and the iguanas. The activities included scuba / snorkeling, night hikes, fishing, kayaking, etc.... The food was great,... More

I can't say enough about the experience we had at this lovely Inn. Prepare to be in paradise. The rooms are set high atop the hill (29+) and serious ramps but well worth the trek. Toucans, monkeys, and Macaws greet you daily outside your door. Coco is a wonderful dog that greets you at the dock ( it's so remote,you... More

We absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Olman, Mike and Luis treated us like royalty. They met with us as soon as we arrived with cold wash cloths and a tropical drink. They explained the layout of the property, the beach and the meals while our bags were taken to the room. We... This place is magical! We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was truly special. The staff here is amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Olman was always there for us whenever we needed anything. He would sit with us in the evening and go over our next days activities to make sure we knew what to... More

What a wonderful and unexpected experience. My husband and I travel to Costa Rica every year, trying different areas. This was our first experience in the South. When I first learned about the property, my husband was somewhat skeptical - not being as adventurous as myself. I knew I was pushing his comfort boundaries - the hotel is accessible only... More
