This place was a little worn but very charming. Staff was awesome and friendly. The pool was in ground mineral water - the purest around. Right after high season so priced excellent. They do not take credit cards.

This "resort" has 2 good features: - It has a nice inground pool - It's located right in the village of Dominical and relatively close to the beach Unfortunately, this hotel is maintained in a way that is sloppy beyond belief and managed quite loosely: - Landscaping is bleeehhh... - Rooms are reasonably clean but ugly - my bathroom was... The bar next door is super noisey, which made it very difficult to sleep. The room I was issued was terrible. The bathroom didn't have any light bulb; their remedy was to offer us a flashlight instead of simply replacing the light bulb (which they had tons of!) The staff was not friendly and the breakfast they offered was a... More

There were tons of mosquitoes comming into our room we had to put our towels in the windows to stop them. The instalations are ugly and bad maintenance: the bathroom was dirty, but the worse was the service: the people is unfriendly, the breakfast was too few that we had to look for more food in another place. We asked... More

No frills, basic but clean enough rooms. Great location near beach river and center of town. Has a nice pool. Not the friendliest owner. Loud bar scene some nights right across the pool from the rooms. Pool table was a plus. Overall a good choice for Dominical on a budget.

Stayed here because everything else was full and we arrived into town a bit late. We were exhausted and did not want to look anymore. We ended up staying 2 nights. The rooms were basic but clean although a bit musty smellling. The bartenders and staff were not so attentive, especially after you check in and pay. We had to... More

If you want ac in costa rica your options are limited. If you'd like to add cable tv your even more limited. If you'd like to have a pool and still be close to the action you should expect to either pay a fortune,,, or you could simply plan to stay at the Rio Lindo and make sure your expectations... More

I traveled to Costa Rica for my first time and traveled the country. We stayed a few days in dominical which ended up being my favorite stop during my trip. the resort is beautiful, and Kathy and Brian were amazing hosts. We knew it was next to the rum bar and we were excited to be able to take a... More

I stayed at Rio Lindo because most other places were full, and while I wouldn't stay for an extended period of time, I discovered some hidden gems and some great people there. Kathy and Brian are friendly, down to earth, good people. The bartenders were great. The views of the river are awesome and sunsets are killer. The property is... More

We were two couples who had driven over 200 hot miles that day. We had reservations after reading favorable reviews. The woman manager told us that there would be music that night, so she gave us a chance to back out. We were told that there would be no breakfast and there was a $10 price reduction. We were tired... More
