When planning this trip, one of the things we wanted was to have a hotel on the Pacific Coast that was right on the water. After reading the stories about the mob scenes at Manuel Antonio we wanted to go somewhere else. The agency that organized our trip suggested Dominical/ Uvita and booked this hotel. It was a great choice.... More

We stayed a week in the toucan and loved every minute of it! The room is spacious with everything you need including mini fridge, coffee pot, glasses, dishes etc. They even provide you with a large water cooler to make coffee and fill up your water bottles. The patio area is so private and relaxing with hammock, table and chairs... More

My wife and I ended up booking a few too many nights in Quepos surrounding our visit to Manuel Antonio. My recommendation - DON'T STAY IN QUEPOS. There's nothing to do there and the town is kind of dirty. Plan your Manuel Antonio visit around Dominical/Dominicalito instead, and book this hotel. It's beautiful, the restaurant is fantastic, the pool is... More

We stayed at Costa Paraiso in the Tucan cabina for 3 nights. The location and grounds are lovely. The Tucan is very private with a deck overlooking the gardens and the ocean crashing on the rocks below which we loved. The air conditioning works well and makes for a comfortable sleep. The property has a small pool area with hammocks... More

Thank you for staying at Costa Paraiso! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the Toucan Nest. Your right, this room is the most secluded room with a deck overlooking the waves crashing into the rocks. This is the most popular room for a couple, as it is our only suite with a king size bed. Playa Dominicalito, the beach... More

The views at this place are wonderful. Its a waterfront location, with a rocky coast. The waves crash most of the day, sometimes getting up to 20' high. There's a small beach to the left, but you have to travel to get to most locations. Keep in mind, nothing in domincal is close, so a car rental is a must.... More

Thanks for visiting Costa Paraiso and PorQueNo! We appreciate your kind words about our views, hotel, and our food. Our ceviche and fish dishes are very popular. We thrive on fresh fish daily. Your right, Toucan is the most secluded room, being the suite for a couple. We also enjoy the birds and waves crashing into the rocks. We are... More

Views are amazing and the rooms are clean and well decorated. Grounds are well maintained with beautiful flowers. What made our stay extra special was the service we received from Sarah. She was professional and prompt in emailing and the reservation process, and went above and beyond in helping us with transportation and other arrangements. Thank you Sarah for all... More

We spent our spring break vacation at Costa Paraiso, with 3 kids - 11,9,6. We had a wonderful time, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Sarah set up several tours, helped with shuttle service to/from San Jose, and arranged a rental car for us. Dominical is a nice seaside town, and there are many activities within an hour's... More

This was our second stay at Costa Paraiso, and this time had friends and family with us and occupied all 5 rooms. Right at Dominicalito beach, with views from our porch of the ocean and tropical garden surroundings, Costa Paraiso is a beautiful place. The spacious and spotless Dolphin room easily accommodated our family of five, kids aged 14, 12... More

We stayed two nights in the Toucan Nest. This room is better than the others as it is more secluded. Wifi was not accessible from the room. Other rooms are facing the parking lot. The ocean just a 5 minute walk from there is really nice to swim in. The best thing about this place is the restaurant. The food... More
