My husband and I stayed at Bosque with another couple in April. It was tough decision to make because we were looking for a beach vacation, but there aren't any places to stay on the beach. This region does not allow building something like one mile from the ocean. We were also nervous because it was up a hill and... more

The luxurious comfort of the villas as well as the European attention to detail makes this one of the most sublime stays I've ever had abroad. This is incredibly enhanced by the vital and panoramic surroundings of natural Costa Rica rain forest which we primarily came to see. Who in this world would believe they could be awakened by a... more

From the moment we drove up the drive we knew there was going to be something special about Manu Villas- but nothing we had imagined compared to what we experienced. The grounds are stunning and villas were exquisite. If you have the chance, do stay in the treehouse- with West facing views across the jungle to breathtaking susnsets were the... more

Our family of five (three teenage daughters) stayed at the Pavillion for six nights and we wished for more. The villa and surrounding area is just as described on their website. It was islolated enough so that we received the full jungle "feel", yet the accomodations are five star in every sense. Every morning we awoke to many toucans calling... more

We stayed at Bosque en el Cielo with another couple in early April 2009 and had an excellent time. The house and the surrounding property are simply beautiful. We especially liked the beach at Dominical and took surfing lessons there, as well as Tortilla Flats for snacks and drinks afterwards. As for getting to the house, I would highly recommend... more

An excellent relaxation opportunity for both of us. Surrounded by the wonders of mother nature - sights and sounds - and now memories that will last a lifetime. The early morning sounds of the parakeets to the late afternoon visits by the toucans - truly remarkable. Surrounded by butterflies in every color of the rainbow. Close proximity to quaint beaches.... more

I live in CR and have been to many vacation rental homes and many hotels, but none have been as memorable as Manu. When my parents were able to come visit me and my family, we booked the Pavillion for 3 nights. It was just perfect. The attention to detail in construction and flat ridge top location make it easy... more

The Manu Villa Complex is not easy to find but it is worth the adventure up the hill. You might never want to come back down! There are several houses on this property site. This is our third year returning here and it was great to see how the owners have integrated some beautiful wood houses from Bali that are... more

We just returned from 16 days traveling in Costa Rica and stayed at the Pavillion for 4 nights with our two children (6 and 8 y.o.). It was an adventure! We met Jose, the care taker of the property, at a little bar on a dirt road in Hatillo at an agreed upon hour. Jose was right on time and... more

Going up hill we wondered where we would end up but wow we loved this place. You can see the photos on the wesite but in real live it looks even better. This place is very well taken care of and has all you need to enjoy & relax. The location is great not only because of the ocean view... more
