So we stayed in this hotel after reading mixed reviews. I have to say it was true to town of tombstone. We stayed in the Doc Holiday room, nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable, room was super clean. Little fridge , sink was built in to a nice wooden counter. Our room had a small hot tub, this was very nice. This place... More

We had 2 very pleasant nights in the spacious Settlers Suite with kitchenette, jacuzzi and back porch where we set up our BBQ. Our room was clean and all equipment was in working order. The pool was also clean and well maintained. The owners kindly let us stay an extra night, even though they had closed the motel to do... More

If you're into the old west and especially the John Wayne movie era you can't beat this hotel as an experience. Built in the late 40's or early 50's with some updated renovations it's like going back in time. This is old school at it's best and which John Wayne rented out while making movies in AZ. Rustic atmosphere all... More

We never saw the manager. We arrived late afternoon and were starving so during dinner the phone rings and the manager advises she is leaving, but will leave the key for us. We get to the motel and find our room. Tiny, it is. We had to navigate around each other and did not have space for our two suitcases.... More

I guess most people venture to Tombstone for the feel of the wild west, which makes this motel the perfect place to stay. The rooms are big and nice and the overall feel of the place is very western-like. It's possible to tie your horse next to your car outside, and ind the back of the rooms, you have a... More

Quaint little motel. Rooms were very nice. We stayed in the Settlers room. Very nice for a family of 4. The motel was very well kept. Just a short walk from town. Owner and sons were very nice and helpful. My kids enjoyed the pool.

Remember when you drove up to your motel room door? This is one of those places, with the charm and the inconveniences. Room was tiny, as advertised, but everything worked, and it was clean. Could have used a few coat hangers and a shelf in the bathroom, but it is an easy two block walk to historic downtown Tombstone. The... More

Stayed here for a father & son trip. At $59 per night it did not disappoint, nor did it surprise. Very primitive accommodations, but clean, quiet & reasonably comfortable. Two blocks from the OK Corral. All in all, we got what we paid for & I'm satisfied with that.

Rustic representative of the old west. John Wayne used to stay here. We had the Billy Clanton room which is the smallest room they have but quite adequate. Room was very clean, cozy and the staff friendly. We had a great time and will stay here again on our next trip to town

I am struggling to find the correct words to describe this place. On first impressions the place is a slum masquerading as an old motel. It looks authentic , old, unkept and in need of urgent maintenance . sadly this does not improve when you get keys to your room, in fact it got worse . When we opened our... More
