First let me say the owners were friendly, the complex is clean and well groomed. The room was clean & compact. Compact is generous term. We've stayed in numerous historical hotels but never had an experience like this. I've never stayed in any hotel where the room was never cleaned. We were there 5 days/4 nights. Our room was not... Me and my film crew stayed here for a week in January of 2012 and had an awesome time! We occupied the famous John Wayne room and enjoyed our stay very much. They were accommodating to our every need and the hotel was right off the beaten path, but just close enough to stay in the daily action and the... More

I am giving this four stars in comparison to other low-amenity type of hotels. It is not a "four star hotel" in any other sense. We stayed in an economy room, so it did not have the kitchenette that is available in some of the other rooms here. There was a small bathroom with a shower stall (no tub). The... More

Loved the history of this quaint and authentic motel. Many stars including John Wayne have stayed there and the rooms are names accordingly. Lana, the new owner, was very gracious and ran a clean motel. The rooms are not lavish but definitely provides an Old West vibe. Add to that it's great location (walking distance to everything), the cleanliness and... More

If you like unique places and want a taste of the "old west" you will appreciate this motel. If you're used to, and prefer, modern amenities from the usual chain hotels then you won't like this place. We stayed in the Maureen O'Hara room. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is the size of a very small closet.... More

Good place to stay to get into character for a day in Tombstone. In keeping with the theme it is a bit austere and small but that is what the cowboy would have. All rooms named with an actor who stayed there. It was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable, the lady in charge friendly and helpful and it... More

I took a last minute overnight trip to Tombstone with my girlfriend and found shelter with the Sagebrush Inn. It's not real fancy or anything like that, but it was real cozy and clean, not to mention the proximity to downtown Tombstone was great! Everyone was nice and our room was a lot better than we actually expected, which contributed... More

Please disregard the negative comments on this sweet little motel! If your looking for candy on your pillows and turn down service this is not the place for you, I don't think anywhere in Tombstone you will find such amenities. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest this is it! Sue the owner was just a... More

This was my first trip to Tombstone, I was a little worried that it was a couple of blocks off the main drag, but we walked to and from Allen street at all hours of the day and night. It was great to be away from all the night life. We stayed in the Settlers room and found it clean,... More
