I don't usually do this but I felt that this time I had to. I travel alot and because of this I stay in alot of hotels. Most of the time they are not good or bad....just a place to sleep. However, this time was different. The staff at Americas Best Value Inn in Tempe, Az. was absolutely amazing! I... more

We had stayed at another ABVI in New Mexico and that was fairly decent. What made me choose the one in Tempe was that there was a decent breakfast in New Mexico and thought Tempe would be similar since we were going to be busy in the mornings. Unfortunately the breakfast was a continental one with coffee, juice, and rolls,... more

Down at the heels is a kind description. It feels like someone just stopped caring. My bath tub had some disturbing, but interesting cracks. Paint and fix-up don't seem to be a priority. And it wasn't the best value. I switched to Ramada Inn down the street for the the next night's stay and saved $18! more

Was worried when I read some reviews, but after football game we showed up and it was fine. It is perfect for the value. It is on opposite end of campus from the Sun Devil Stadium. Take a $5 cab ride or a $10 peddi-cab to and from game (too hot yesterday to walk). Air conditioner was fine and cooled... more

Review from raghu2383 on June 22, 2007 is a lie. she found her I pod in her suit case While packing. I was in the lobby when she came in and announced finding it. The hotel is older with nice clean rooms and a friendly staff at a great price. more

This hotel and its staff are horrible. before I made the reservation, I asked if they serve breakfast in the morning. They replied they serve fine continental breakfast. I assumed that they would have basic food items like at least bread or perhaps a bagel. The night I checked in, some residents were shouting on top of their voices and... more

This property was a great value for the money. Location, location, location. Close to ASU to an event I attended, near all restaurants, bars etc.... Room was basic but very clean and a good value for the money. I will stay again. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I come to Phoenix every year and will continue to stay here. more

This was probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. It was not very clean and the final straw was coming back after the first day and discovering that my luggage had been gone through and my ipod stolen. Hotel management never even responded to my complaint. I left three nights early for a much better hotel. more

Management response from

This Guest Found her I Pod in her suit case before she left. She stopped by the front desk and told the staff that she had found it. Our staff has been with the hotel for many years and this is the first incident of this type since I have been the Manager (10 years). Richard Holz

I know it looks like the best deal ever but IT"S NOT WORTH IT!!! This place is disgusting. I wouldn't touch the floor with anything that I cared about. The pool was empty. It was in a bad part of town. Stay at the Best Western - way better. more

While visiting Arizona for family vacation visitng ASU campus, we stayed at the best value inn. We found it to be an Excellent value with a very friendly staff. The front desk was extremely helpful on places to visit and dine. Great location close to ASU,and downtown Tempe for some great shopping and eating. The rooms were clean, good housekeeping,... more
