When I am required to be in the Phoenix area I always stay at this property. I love the setting there. I also always am greeted by a great staff. The restaurants are well above average.

I stayed at this resort while on business because its location was conveniently located by the Phoenix airport as well as my business location. What I liked best about the Buttes was how the design of the hotel blended into the scenery and landscaping. Very cool. The lobby was impressive, but the staff even more so (more about that later).... More

Here at The Buttes, we feel like an Oasis in the middle of everyday busy life. We appreciate such a well written beautiful description of our resort, and welcome you back anytime. We are very close to the airport making it very convenient. Thanks again. More

This resort is only a few short minutes from the Phoenix airport but a world away. Once you head up the driveway to this mountain resort it is breathtaking. I had a room that overlooked the pool and what a pool it is. There are two huge pools with waterfalls all around coming down the mountain rocks. There is a... More

Thank you! It is beautiful. Not to many of us can complain when our work area contains a view of Phoenix from on top a butte, a waterfall in the lobby, and an amazing pool. Our guest rooms are also very comfortable. We have great food options on site and also a nice and relaxing lobby bar. Thank you for... More

Just wanted to give kudos to the best Marriott staff ever! I stayed at The Buttes March 1 & 2, and every staff I met greeted me with a smile and a hello, and if I engaged in conversation, took the time to talk to me. Also, the facilities were amazing - built into the hills overlooking Phoenix. The waterfall... More

I recently stayed (for business) at this hotel and have to say it is one of the best places I have stayed in the Phoenix area. I was greeted by friendly staff who quickly checked me in and showed me how to get to my room. The room was wonderful and everything you would want in resort accommodations. The staff... More

Rooms were nice, clean well appointed except the mini bar had been discontinued and no bar fridge in the room (kind of a downer in a hot climate). Staff were polite, pools were very nice and my wife and I appreciated the separaton of smoking and non smoking pools! The location was very nice on a small mountain with a... More

Location: very close to the airport and major roads, yet away from it all, tucked into the side of a little mountain. And right next to Pujols and the LA Angels spring training site. Yet less than 20 min to Scottsdale or downtown Phoenix on the side of town closest to Tucson. True that you need a car and they... More

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 6 weeks and have yet to be disappointed. Relaxing resort to stay at for business travel. The staff is very accommodating and recognized me on my last trip. I have had several meetings in the bar area and the staff is attentive. I will absolutely stay here again when... More

This hotel is built into the side of a mountain with secluded hot tubs terraced on the mountainside. A short hike to the top of the hill accross from the entrance reveals expansive views of the city. A walk around the backside of the hotel and you overlook the Spring facilities of the Angels baseball team. All members of the... More

The grounds are very nice and well kept. The rooms were a good size and have been kept up well. Very friendly and helpful valet and front desk staff. The pool is beautiful and it's huge. Plenty of Jacuzzi's to go around if you want more privacy. I will come back again.
