It's pretty much perfect for the situation where you spent all day hiking the canyon and falls, and return to the Havasupai Reservation to get some sleep before doing it again the next day. It may not be a spa but we were extremely greatfull for the hospitality.

We stayed 2 nights in July and were happy with the room which was larger then expected, was clean and had a fairly comfortable bed. The air conditioning was awesome and kept the room super cool in the 100 degree temps and having a hot shower was wonderful! When we arrived all we wanted was a shower and a bed... More

This lodge is better than what 2 stars may suggest. I'm giving it 2 stars compared to other hotels that I've stayed at, none of which were at the bottom of a canyon on a Native American Reservation miles and miles from other civilization. When we first got to our room, it was better than what we expected. It was... More

You're in an isolated village down in the canyon where everything has to be brought in by pack animal or helicopter, so don't expect the Hilton. Or the Holiday Inn. Or even Motel 6. But after a day of hot, dusty hiking, you will be glad to settle for a shower, a real bed with pillows, electricity, and air conditioning.... More

The Havasupai Lodge is operated by the same folks as The View in Monument Valley and Sacred Canyon Lodge in Canyon de Chelly. We arrived a bit early at the lodge and our rooms were not ready. We decided to go to the local grocery store and then have lunch at the nearby cafe to kill some time. The rooms... More

The place was clean and pleasant, which is good considering how remote it is. However, beware: you can only check in between 1 and 5 pm; so, if you hike down and want to go see the falls in the morning, you need to either leave your stuff unsecured at the lobby (assuming you find it open) or lug it... The reservations were a little tricky to make. I made ours in October for an Augyst stay at the lodge. Apparantly, they don't address the following year's requests until January but I did not know that. The office is ooen from 9-12 and then again from 1-4 ish. With the time zone difference in NY I kept missing them. Once... More

Friendly staff. Easy check in process. Informative pre-lodge packet sent ahead if time. SIMPLE. Clean. No TV. Air Conditioned. Not a fancy place but we couldn't have asked for more!! Cafe and store are a short walk away. The falls are about 2 miles but a very easy hike.

My extended family and I stayed at this place just for one night, and I'm glad we didn't plan on staying longer, because the whole experience was nowhere near worth the expense. My Dad, brother and I took the horses down the canyon, while my Mom, Great-Granny and baby brother took the helicopter, meeting up in the village. There are... More

Really nice place to stay in the canyon if you are ok with no frills. Clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable after all of the hiking. The only thing that is not convenient is that you must bring your own food. The Supai village is not really set up with many places to eat especially after 6PM and... More
