Reeds is a friendly home like motel. The ranchers that run it keep it clean and neat and try to help you with anything you need. We have stayed at Reeds Motel before and will return any time we are in the area.

My wife and I have been staying at Reed's lodge for several weeks for each of the last five years. This year, as we were traveling from Alb to Phoenix, we just had to make a top at Reed's Lodge. If we were within a hundred miles we would make the detour. The rooms are large, clean and pretty up... More

We have stayed here on several occasions and will continue to do so. This is simply a well run family business that offers clean, well kept rooms at a fair price. Mattresses, towels, etc were all excellent and the peace, quiet and comfort are all here.

We stayed at Reed's on a Monday night before taking our Harley down the Coronado Highway to Clifton. The room was comfortable and clean. (my husband loved the remote control heat/ AC unit). They were very accommodating and we felt very safe, parking our bike right in front of our room. There's a great place to eat right across the... More

It's hard enough dealing with large chain lodging places and becoming a number so when I get the chance to stay with mom and pop I welcome it. This place is older but they take care of it. It is always clean and they are always friendly. That's all I really want!

No complaints. The room was clean and the bed exceptionally big. The heat worked great and water pressure excellent. When the hostess couldn't get the credit card machine to work, she gave us the key to our room anyway. I appreciated being trusted and returned later when the machine was working. We had a room that they refer to as... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our place. We appreciate your comments. Many of our guests, like you, especially like our wonderful water pressure and our large beds. Sorry about the slow Wi-Fi. We have a strong signal with numerous transmitters around the grounds, but our rural area's internet provider has been struggling to keep up with demand .... More

I just spent three nights in one of the Ponderosa upgrade rooms which I had reserved by phone. I arrived well before check in time, but the lady behind the desk personally took the time to make sure the room would be ready as soon as possible. I walked half a block to the City Building and spent a few... More

It is a cheap and cheerful place. It looks like a 1950s motel. The rooms are roomy, clean and tidy, but barebones. Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. We found the king-sized bed in the Lil Buckaroo room to be hard. The lobby and rooms with all kinds of art and crafts for sale were great to explore. The... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our place. We appreciate your comments. I do wish that when we were chatting, you would have mentioned needing shampoo and a hair dryer. We give them out on request all the time and will even deliver them to rooms for you! Sorry you found the bed a bit hard for your... More

This is a very old property. Although clean and nice sized the rooms need a lot of updating. Our room was called "deluxe" but the toilet seat had wood showing and the tub did not drain when taking a shower. There is no coffee pot in the room so you had to walk outside to the lobby to get a... More

The people are just great!! The hotel has lots of charm and history. It is a bit shabby around the edges, hence the 4 rating. However, the ambiance more than makes up for the other. They are remodeling and I am sure it will only get better.

Thanks so much for your nice compliments. We are glad you enjoyed our relaxed old-fashioned atmosphere here at Reed's. We know there are some things that need to be updated, but we also don't want to take away that old time feeling. Dare we call it "shabby chic"? We are constantly redoing one thing and another and trying to improve... More
