Grayton Beach is close to Seaside/Watercolor - which is very expensive. So getting a room for $140 - $200 / night, in season, is pretty reasonable. Grayton Beach is 1/4 mile up the road (walking distance). You can easily travel to Seaside/Watercolor in 5 minutes (car). Bike paths also provide easy traveling options to get from town to town on... We stayed in the Old Florida Room for seven nights. It is a fun, funky room with lots of amusing touches. The Queen size bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the kitchenette was surprisingly well equipped. The staff were friendly and provided some good suggestions. We enjoy the slower pace of the Grayton Beach area and... More

This was my first time here and I reserved the Magnolia Room for three nights in June 2015. The beach is down the street 10-minute walk away. Just perfect! The coffee shop is right under the Magnolia room with a very short and organic/vegetarian menu. Not bad, just OK. The Magnolia room is small but for one person is fine.... More

Thanks for your review and your tip. We try to make sure our guests are aware that they may hear some noise in the AM if they are in the Magnolia or Hibiscus rooms. We include this info on our room descriptions on the website. If we did not make you aware, I apologize. I'm glad you are coming back.... More

Very nice people and an old Florida atmosphere. We had breakfast frittatas which were very good. We really enjoyed this place! Tables outside and in. Looks like it has been here many years, felt like I was back in the 1950's. Highly recommend it.

We highly recommend the Woodpecker Cottage! Woodpecker Cottage has it's own screened porch with bistro table and chairs. We love the Old Florida style. The "living room" has comfortable cushioned chairs, a refrigerator and microwave. The A/C works very well. The queen sized bed was very comfortable. The cottage has a decent-sized shower. The cottage was well-supplied with towels and... More

We stayed in Flat Four at the Hibiscus Inn and it is a real treasure. It is decorated in Old Florida vintage style and has everything you need. You have privacy with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and balcony and you get a delicious organic breakfast included. Grayton Beach is a great area for biking and is a short walk... More

The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the card with the Inn Keeper's name had been marked through with a pen and a new name written on it, so I'm not sure if there's been an ownership change. We stayed in the Romance room, which was furnished with period furniture ... which is a nice way of... More

This is a terrific inn. Hibiscus flat four is a well stocked apartment. Clean and comfortable. Just a sort walk to amazing beach and a stroll to the bike trail. If you want working wireless, don't pick this room. The included breakfast is yummy. Get the wonderful waffle.

Stayed one night in the Tropical Bird room. Nice size room, the bathroom excellent shower pressure, modestly furnished and old-style Florida setting. Walls are paper thin, and you could hear people in the common area and vice versa. It didn't bother us much, but if you don't want someone else to hear your conversation talk softly. Bed was comfortable. Nice... More

I have to admit that find Florida over developed and predictable. Hibiscus coffee and guest house is in a great spot just off the beaten path. The breakfast is great and their location is fantastic. A 10 minute walk to the beach. The employees are really helpful and there is plenty to do if you don't want to go to... More
