We chose this motel because of its price. So that was a big factor. But it was way better than we expected! (we read bad reviews). The room was clean. Both the fridge ans the microwave worked and we had fresh towels and soap! Everything was there! And the owners were really nice people too! Noise wise we didn't here... More

If your looking to stay in a old school route 66 hotel, then Romney isn't bad. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy. It all reminded me of my grandmother's house though. They have a 120+ Channels and brag about it as if it makes up for the fact that the TV is 30 years old. Overall not bad.

I stay here for work a few times a year, every time I come its a pleasurable experience. Rooms are outdated, but they are clean. Direct tv, nice shower, beds are old but comfortable. It's a small hotel, very small rooms, walls are pretty thin, but for the most part it's never full, so it's usually quiet. If your passing... More

My husband and I stayed in this awful place. Very very dirty, the lamp was unplugged so I went to plug it in and it shocked me! The wires are very bad. In the bathroom, there was a dead mouse behind the toilet. Gross! I didn't sleep that night, I kept feeling something crawling on me. My husband went out... More

John, the gentleman that checked us in, makes this place. The owners of 7 yrs ARE NOT concerned with reviving this outdated rundown tired motel. It could easily be one of Seligman's best if the owners would invest in renovations rather than squeezing out the last dollar of profit. Our room had inop AC, & John moved us to another room.... We stayed here in June 2015 on our Route 66 tour. This simple motel is run by a charming couple. Our room was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Right next door to The Black Cat Inn where the juke box is nice and loud, beer cold and locals friendly. We got 10% off token from Romney to eat at... More

We live in Kingman, AZ; 80 miles from Seligman, AZ and we go there quite often on our motorcycles to have lunch at one of the local restaurants. We also go up every year for a trike event that is held over Memorial Day Weekend (5/22-5/24/15). We made reservations in January at the Romney Motel. Within a couple of weeks,... More

We had booked this motel 5 months ahead for the Fun Run on May 2/15. When we arrived they offered us two rooms One was up some terrible stairs and room not clean and dark. We took the room downstairs. We had to clean the room with cleaning supplies from our vehicle. A little while later my wife being allergic... More

Stayed here on a father-son Route 66 road trip. Staff was helpful and friendly. Exterior is not as impressive as other properties, and the room was definitely not new, but everything was clean and fully functional. Price was very good (lower than booking services). Great location - walking distance to all Seligman amenities. Would stay there again.

we turned up 9.15pm and the lady let us look at the room, yes it basic ( we had left Santa Monica on a Route 66 road trip where we paid £250 a night so we like luxury sometimes ) BUT we paid £35.00 for the night and had a "proper" old fashioned Route66 road trip motel experience spending a...
