We stayed at the Canyon Lodge on our way to Havasupai Falls. It’s about 90 miles to the Hilltop parking lot from here. It’s a small, two-story motel. We stayed in a double room, there were three of us. The room is small, the bathroom is very small, and the fixtures were dated. But, it’s clean, the beds are reasonably... More

We spent a night at this hotel in a route 66 themed room. Very clean room, friendly owner...Did not stay for breakfast as we left early to Supai village for our hike. Gave us discount coupons which we could use at nearby restaurant...Overall, very satisfied.

This is an old hotel keeping the Route 66 spirit. The rooms are theme rooms such as Elvis, trains, motorcycles, etc. It is a basic motel with comfortable beds, nice size rooms and adequate bath. The towels are on the thin side but there are enough of them. We had been on the road 13 days before staying here. We had... More

We hadn't pre-booked this stop-over so we were amazed to find that there were rooms available. We received a very warm welcome from Reinhardt who fitted our themed rooms to us perfectly! The rooms were very spacious, particularly for a motel, the bathrooms were well fitted and of a high standard. Plenty of power sockets and surfaces for charging the... More

What a great place to stay. We stopped because of rain on our way to Las Vegas an so glad we did. We stayed in the Marilyn Monroe room, the room was large, very clean and inviting. Reinhardt was ver helpful with place to eat and routes to take because of monsoons. Will definitely stay again if road trip takes... More

This is the best place on route 66. It was a councidence that we stopped, but it worth every penny.Reinhardt is a really nice and polite guy. Not to mention that the rooms are supercool. I definietly recommend to stop at this place, when you are traveling trough route 66.

What a jewel. The welcome we received was excellent. The rooms were large, clean and themed! The elvis room was awesome (huge bed!) and the john wayne and marilyn ones were just as great. Excellent standard and a great place to stay on your route 66 trip! Do it!

What a great place to stay!. Rienhard and Mike were very welcoming hosts. We could feel the pride they had in their small but clean and comfortable motel. This small town was a very quiet one Street " Route 66" made famous in the movie "Cars". We really enjoyed sitting on the front balcony in the evening and while drinking... More

We stayed here for a night in May on our 3 week road trip. It was just perfect, great decoration, super clean, quiet and perfectly located for a stroll around the village. Reinhardt filled us in on the recent history of the rebirth of Seligman and how it was the model for Radium Springs of Cars fame. He has also... More

The Canyon Lodge is an old Route 66 motel, small and cozy, clean and has not been allowed to run down. The manager was very pleasant, friendly, and personable. Each room features a "theme" - Elvis, Marilyn, Route 66, Hollywood, Trains, etc., and is decorated accordingly. It was a little cool the night we stayed, and we appreciated the thick... More
