I love well-kept vintage motels and the Canyon Lodge is a nice as they come. Everything was in good repair and clean as a whistle. Fun "themed" rooms with parking at the door just the way it should be.The owner was very accommodating and obviously enjoys what he does for a living. He gave us a great suggestion for supper... We stayed here because of the good reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was hot. The management and front desk were accommodating and helpful. We stayed here to rest up before hiking into Supai and it was perfect for our needs. The themed rooms added a little... More

Four of us stayed here in September. It is simply amazing. The rooms are themed, very quirky. We stayed in the Las Vegas Honeymoon suite, our friends had the James Dean room! Nothing was too much trouble for Mr Reinhard. He even gave us a little gift of a few beers, as we sat sunning ourselves after looking around the... More

We came into town late and were just stopping in Seligman overnight. Had no idea that we were about to drive into one of the cutest little historic towns off of Route 66, and such a nice, clean and comfortable Hotel! We met Mr. Reinhard and he was extremely helpful and informative of the town and the hotel and the... More

Just like others, we found a impeccable clean room with all the amenities you need and a very welcoming owner/manager Reinhard. His recommendation of Lilo's Cafe was geat and we were able to park our car for a couple of days while we went down to Havasu Falls. The service and help was tops.

My husband and I showed up earlier this week after a long day of road-tripping with no reservations. The owner asked whether we wanted two queens or a king. When we replied we wanted the king, he gave us the Elvis room. I was a little leery of an Elvis-themed room, but it was great. Elvis pictures and memorabilia covered... More

It's a typical older Route 66 gem. The hotel is well kept and clean. The only reason I did not give it excellent was because the breakfast was much, just prepackaged items. So we went out for breakfast. Otherwise the owner was welcoming, the rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. The town is a really fun... More

We stayed here for one night on our Route 66 road trip. We walked in and booked the Elvis room. Room was spotlessly clean and the king size bed incredibly comfortable. Great price and the German owner was really welcoming and helpful. Breakfast of cereal, fruit, assorted packaged cakes/pastries and coffee was completely adequate for our needs. The owner recommended... More

What you get: impeccable clean themed rooms (please check website www.route66canyonlodge.com for pictures) with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, at rates from the past. The owner/manager Reinhard is dedicated to make you feel comfy. A lot of attention is paid to any detail. It’s one of the places I wish would be available more often. A true find. The continental breakfast... More
