On our return trip from New Mexico to California we decided to take a break and stay in Seligman. Based on TripAdvisor reviews we chose the Canyon Lodge. This is an older route 66 motel but it is spotless and well cared for. The room had a fridge, micro & coffee maker all a plus. The owmer is VERY accommodating and... More

Stayed in the Hollywood room- super luxurious and one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. Not large but had everything you would want. Lovely large balcony on the first floor with plenty of seating overlooking route 66, nice to relax with a drink especially in the evening. Reinhard the owner was very friendly and we had several... My son and I stayed here before backpacking down to Havasupai. The room was clean and spacious (we had 2 people, but there was space for 5 - two queens and a single). Good value and much better than sleeping on the hilltop. Lilo's down the street was great for dinner and coffee in the morning.

Booked three rooms for one night. LOVED the kitsch, and the rooms were super clean and the beds were great! My whole family enjoyed the continental breakfast-a variety of cereals, fruit, yogurt and some pastries. Route 66 in Seligman is truly right out of the movie "Cars"-we really enjoyed it!

This hotel was suggested by my Grand Canyon tour guide. Arrived, and found the one street city surprisingly familiar. The hotel is in Seligman on famous Route 66 and this is the town that inspired the movie CARS by pixar. The Canyon Lodge is a great little place, each room has a theme. Clean, comfortable and the staff (Reinhard) was... More

we wanted to feel some of the historic route 66 spirit and drove from kingman to seligman. well it was mostly just boreing... "dead" little towns and nothing more! but then we arrived at seligman and the canyon lodge. seligman is nice and small with little tourist shops. and then canyon lodge was wonderful! each room has its own decoration,... Quaint, nothing fancy but clean & comfortable. Pretty much like it was in the 50-60s. Convenient to food, shopping, or just walking through this stange little town. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good choice for an overnight stay.

We spent two nights at the Canyon Lodge and our room very clean and pleasant. The host Reinhardt was great to talk with. The lodge provides discounts at some of the restaurants in town. Just show the server your key and you will receive a discount. There is a carpeted deck above the office which was a great place to... More

How can you beat this? Very Clean! and pleasant room in small town on Rte 66, at a very reasonable price. Reinhardt, the howner and host, even provides a discount to the towns best restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here after finishing a trek to the Supai Village. Neighbors were a bit noisy but this can happen anywhere.

Although the town of Seligman is a stop along the old Route 66, and not much of a town, Canyon Lodge reflects the values of the age of Route 66. I have been in rooms that cost twice as much and provided half the amenities. We had the Hollywood room (room 12), upstairs (no elevator), surrounded by posters (actually completed... More
