Having left Texas that morning we picked Seligman for our overnight, scanned the hotel offers, and pulled into the best deal in town. Not cheapest. The accommodations were somewhat small, but it was clean and our chihuahua could stay. Really nice Hollywood theme. In our room it was Marylin Monroe in a triptych over the headboard. The bed was great.

I had stayed here a few years ago, and was shocked when they stated there would be a $200 deposit for our $82 room. The staff were unfriendly, to boot, and I actually heard from a local that they refused service to a couple because they "didn't want their kind (religion)" staying there. That may be gossip, but... We moved... More

when you get there you get into the atmosphere of a moovie. Very atmospheric and picturesque motel. Nice combination of price and quality. If you want to feel the atmosphere and make pictures defenately go there.

Awful Beds, Very old outdated. Smelled bad. $82 ...and that was WITH the AAA discount? Worst part was there is a $200 deposit paid up front. Nobody told me THAT on the phone. If you pay in cash, you can have your $200 back after checkout when they look at your room. If you pay on your bank card, the... More

Was a great place to stay although I found the bed a little hard. But great for the low dollars. Lots of route 66 bits around the room. Loved the feature walls. Close to town and diners for a bite to eat.

The motel is clean although the carpet could be replaced. Cute decorations in the room, the room is large, there is a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. (Tea drinkers - you can get tea just down the road at the gas station.) The showerhead is a little low but doable. The problem I had with this motel is the... More

We stopped as part of the family trip. Kids were interested in recapturing Lightning McQueen Cars experience. It seems that this hotel is family run and as we arrived quite late it was good that we have called to reconfirm our arrival time and make sure someone is there to give us the keys. We stayed in Room 4 with... More

In reading other reviews, we can't help but wonder if the desk clerk working during our stay was a different person than others mentioned. The lady working the afternoon we arrived was so sullen. Literally never cracked a smile. We had several foreign visitors in line ahead of us who spoke little English and made communication tedious and difficult, so... More

this 50's motel, aka the Navajo motel is your typical 50's motel you would find on the highway, nice large room, air conditioner was new,, beds are large and firm very comfy with theme decor. restaurants next door. I would gladly stay again as I spent three nites. No complaints for this humble little motel full of history.
