This hotel is a little decieving from the outside, it's much nicer than it appears from the road. It has a surprisingly nice pool and hot tub area. The rooms are a bit plain, but quite functional and adequately equipped for the price. Our room had a small terrace and even though we didn't pay the extra cost of a... More

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant with my husband's surprise anniversary trip. However, when I arrived we were placed in a King size bed Trailhead room on the first floor. The patio view was secluded facing a side road, and very pleasant. The room was spacious, yet intimate. Since we made arrangements at the last minute, we... More

This is the third time my girlfriend and I have stayed here after attending a conference in Phoenix. It is conveniently located and the price is good. It is also a green hotel. More

An ok hotel at a decent price. Seemed clean enough, had a nice view, the pool was ok and it has one of the most popular restaurants in town on the property. That is all I can say to the positives. The breakfast was basically what one could purchase from a vending machine. The staff were unhelpful and rude....we were... More

You wouldn’t call the King’s Ransom elegant, or even stylish. Comfortable would be more like it. But there’s enough space to move around, the bathroom is modern, everything is clean, and if our room was any indication, it’s well kept up. The rate is not cheap, but nothing in Sedona is, and for a reasonably handy location, you’d be hard... More

I wish I would have read these reviews! Be warned...the operators of this place are surly and could care less. Our room was filthy. When we mentioned this to the girl at the front desk all we got was an eye roll from her. We actually had to clean the bathroom floor upon arrival. We used one of the white... More

We love this hotel and will go back. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool and an incredible view of the mountains behind. It was just awe inspiring to see. Breakfast is included- a FULL breakfast with many choices in a room also looking out at those gorgeous red rocks. You can walk up the hill behind the hotel... More

While researching hotels for our anniversary weekend in Sedona, our only criteria was being *in* Sedona (vs. an outskirt city) and having a Jacuzzi style tub for a sore pregnant woman to soak in. We saw Kings Ransom had cheap prices, was in Sedona, and advertised "spa baths" and "whirlpool tubs" in the Kings Deluxe room. I even called the... More

Rooms - Don't stay here if you plan on spending much time in your room. They're very tiny, my girlfriend and I felt crowded and the hallways are so narrow that we were pretty much tripping over each other when getting ready in the morning. The bed also seemed more like a full size then a queen and our luggage... More
