"Free wifi" is non-existent, A/C doesn't work, free breakfast is horrible and the mattress is concrete. The views are the only positive thing to mention--but, those are available anywhere in town. Service? What's that?

The employees manning the front desk should receive Academy Awards for their ability to act surprised and perplexed every time a guest calls or walks up to the desk to complain about lack of wifi access. I had to sit in the lobby to get online and there was a steady stream of people coming in to complain over the... More

We spent one night in the Kings Ransom Hotel in April. Our room was big and the king size bed was comfortable. The room was quiet until we turned the air conditioning on. That was much too noisy to sleep through. Our room opened onto the inner court yard, which was very pretty and well cared for. We had nice... More

Stayed in trailhead rooms which were furthest from the road and by far the largest of the rooms. The rooms were a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We had a private balcony ,fridge, couch, chair and coffee table. Breakfast was served in the restaurant , all one would need to start the day(hot and cold... More

This hotel has an ideal setting for visiting the area with your dog, and, it's affordable! We had a ground-floor king room that was steps away from the small, grassy pet walking area, which is kept clean as a whistle. The big plus is a beautiful, uncrowded trail that leaves from a short walk past the hotel...no need to get... More

The hotel is dated, dirty, and needs complete renovation. The staff was indifferent and provided poor service. Its location near a hiking trail was nice but our stay was unsatisfactory. Not recommended nor would we refer to others.

Good, clean hotel, in ideal position for exploring the area. Easy to find, easy to park. Good room sizes, all v clean. Has top restaurant on the premises, called Elote Cafe; no.1 in area, but it was rammed! Apparently you need to get in line here from 5pm when it opens! Whilst it's nice for the hotel to have a... Located reasonably close to the action. Overall clean and comfortable. OLD style TV with funky antenna which if moved then remote did not work. Staff was friendly and when we called about our non functioning remote, it took less than 3 minutes to have someone at our door and problem fixed within 1 minute. Circle K quick mart within 2-3... The room was a good size, the beds were comfortable, the price was affordable. We didn't use the pool or hot tub as the weather was a bit chilly for us to do that. We slept well. The free breakfast was in the Elote cafe. Oranges, danish, English muffins, waffles, cereals, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, juices, coffee,... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to New Year's. We were visiting friends in Tempe and wanted to explore the area for a couple of days. First of all, the last time my husband was in Sedona was nearly 30 years ago. He was saddened by the over- development of the town. The hotel location is... More
