We only spent one night at The Desert Quail, but wished we could have stayed longer! The beds are firm and very comfortable. The people who run the hotel are wonderful and helpful suggesting where to eat and how to get to the landmarks. The rooms are large and the AC was very quiet. This hotel is about 8 miles... More

My family stayed one Saturday night in Desert Quail Inn in this early Summer. We actually booked another hotel in Sedona from Priceline but it turned out to be a nightmare and we couldn't stay there. We were desperately trying to find a place to sleep by driving along the main street and checking from one hotel to another in... More

This place looks plain on the outside, but the rooms are surprisingly spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. To get to a grocery store and café, just walk through a gap in the wall and you're there. There is a small, but nice pool located away from the street. It is actually in Oak Creek Village, south of Uptown Sedona and... More

My husband, parents, and I stopped here during our road trip to the Grand Canyon. The room was very nice and clean. Lots of upgrades in the room which makes it feel even nicer. And the bed was SO comfortable. The views of the red rocks were beautiful from our room. Pool is well kept and had towels for pool... More

I would have given this an average (3 star rating) but the furnishings in my room were very nice. The hotel itself is just that, a hotel. Nothing fancy on the exterior, I'm not a fan of outside entrances to rooms, but it wasn't bad. For the price, I couldn't complain. Don't ask for a room with a view, there... More

This property is just south of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek. It's been a very pleasant stay for my family and I. The property is very quaint and super quite. The check in was fast and easy, the lady at the desk, very pleasant and very friendly. The whole area seems to shut down pretty early-9pm. The room... More

great little motel, simple and basic rooms but super clean and roomy, located in oak creek village, just a few minutes drive from all the nice places to visit in the sedona area. comfy beds, very quiet area, great sleep quality, decent pool area. no breakfast buffet available, but litterally a few steps from the hotel there is a small... This is a delightful, very clean, resting place. The rooms are ample and the hotel is just fine. You can walk to the IGA supermarket nearby, the hotel is on the main road (but not noisy at all) and it is easy to get anywhere in Sedona. We found the downtown to be too touristy for our tastes, so this... More

This hotel surprised us. From the outside it doesn't stand out, but the room was wonderful. We chose a room with a jacuzzi and fire place. The king bed was four poster and there was a good size sitting area. There were towels at pool side. The manager at the front desk was able to share information about the sights... More

We stayed in this hotel/motel one year ago. It was clean, new and just a short drive into town. If you do not want to pay big $$ for a resort and are looking for a nice, clean place to stay this is your hotel. I would stay her again if I return to this area.
