Although effectively just a motel this is a great place to stay for touring the Red Rocks area. Oak Creek village is about 5 miles South of Sedona so somewhat quieter. Enjoyed our stay at Desert Quail Inn. Front desk gave us great advice on hiking and dining. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I think it's one of the best values in the area. Convenient to bell rock and cathedral rock hikes. Both restaurants that were recommended were excellent and reasonable. No complaints

We spent total of 3 nights. Nice family managing the place. Pool is very small but it backs up to a grocery store and breakfast place which is handy. Extremely happy with our stay. we stayed here on our way to Grand Canyon...we stayed here because of great reviews and the rates were very reasonable. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet,. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend.
