The Desert Quail was by far the most comfortable, relaxing, clean, well located motel we had visited - and the price was most reasonable. It was within short walking distance of a supermarket and various restaurants, coffee houses, etc. Each room was provided with fridge, microwave and coffee pot with packets of coffee, tea, and cocoa which were replenished each... All 5 stars for this hotel. Really comfortable and economical , we stayed at the hotel for a night on our way to antelope canynon. Sedona is a wonderful place where a lot of red rocks are around. The hotel is well situated close to all landmark areas around sedona. The staff was also very friendly. He gave us a... More

This small Inn is in a wonderful and quiet setting, yet only minutes away from Sedona. You have the best of both world: A short drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown, which can be hectic in peak season and a far more peaceful environment to sleep... Close by are excellent eating venues should you choose not to go... More

We were looking for something easy to get in and out, with easy access to our room. Boy, we discovered the perfect place. The Desert Inn is an old style motor inn where you park in front of your room door. It is a small property, but with considerable pride of ownership. The rooms were very modern, nicely decorated and... More

I guess this place is technically in "Oak Creek Village" but it is close to everything and more quiet down there. Sedona seems kind of touristy with all the fudge and shirt shops (though it is cute) so this was a nice location to get away. The room was clean, the beds and everything were nice, and the pool was... More

I took a chance on a place I had never stayed before and booked a room last-minute online I come to Sedona a lot and love to have a place to stay overnight so that my guests and I can thoroughly enjoy all it has to offer. I was not the least bit disappointed. The gentleman at the front desk... More

While visiting Sedona for the first time, my wife I stayed at the Desert Quail Inn because of its location and rates. The hotel is situated along the Red Rock Scenic Byway, so you have great views of Bell Rock and other red rock sites. During our 4-night stay, we paid $89.99/night for two nights and $119.99/night for the other... More

Our family stayed here for two nights while visiting Sedona. We checked in late the first night and the staff member was very courteous. Our room was very clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable and overall the hotel is very quiet. We didn't use the pool but it is on the small side. We liked the location even... More

First time staying at this property, so don't know how it was previously, however, management and staff could not accomodate enough.......very courteous and attentive. Informed us up front that the property was undergoing renovation and told us to let them know if anything was not to our liking........very nice!! The bed and pillows were extremely hard, however, I think that... More

Room was beautiful and very clean. Beds are firm. Pillows are squishy soft. The entire hotel is non-smoking, and that really made a difference for me. The pool is rather small and closed at 9pm. About 10 minutes from downtown shopping and restaurants.
