The motel is the first building as you arrive in the city. It is a simple place, but clean and quiet. Although you can hear noise from the people walking on the second floor (we were in a room on the first floor) the night was calm and good. The bed is nice, the sheets and the towels were clean... Found this cozy place on a spur of the moment decision to visit Sedona (on Labor Day weekend). After calling around town only to find "NO-VACANCY" the common reply we decided to check out the shops enjoy the day and head back to PHX. Luckily we stumbled upon this quiet little place. Our room had three beds, two queens and... More

Great location! The room was very quiet. The room, especially the bathroom was very clean. The bed & pillows were quite comfortable. The bedding & towels looked quite new. No complaints. If you are just looking for a good night's sleep with no extras, this is the place for you!

Our first trip to Sedona and we found quiet comfort in this family owned business at the edge of Uptown. It is the perfect location where we walked to the shops and places to eat. The room was spacious, clean and beds the most comfortable on our week long travels. Included was a deck with chairs and table out back... More

Clean, cosy room, nice bathroom, Sedona's tourist district just a walk away. Prices are fair. Paid 84$ incl. tax on a busy Friday night without reservation. The personal is very friendly, and it's quiet around here.

We had an excellent greeting from Paul at the front desk and enjoyed talking to him for awhile. That said, Paul might be what gets us back to La Vista...aside from Paul, the place is pretty ho-hum. Our room was clean and it did have free internet and overall was fine, but average. It had a good rate, was within... More

The "quaint" and "rustic" descriptions are being kind. This is an old, dated hotel. Having said that, it's probably one of the better values in Sedona, especially if you are going to be spending your time away from the hotel and just looking for a clean, cheap place to sleep. It's at the edge of Uptown, but an easy walk... More

Found the La Vista after checking out of the noisy Hilton early. Could not have been happier, what a wonderful quiet relaxing place. Had a wonderful large upstairs room with a 360 degree view, overlooking trees and mountains. Great downstairs porch area with a nice deck on our upstairs room. La Vista was just perfect, walking distance to town with... More

We discovered the La Vista in 2007, quite by accident. We were on a months long trip looking for clean, safe and reasonable accommodations, It was the pre-smart phone era and I used my GPS,my eye and my gut to size up what would work for us. Entering Sedona I spotted the La Vista and inquired. It was then I met... More

I just returned from a month stay in beautiful Sedona Arizona. I stayed at the rustic La Vista Motel, right on the edge of town. The Motel has a wonderful location, away from the hustle and bustle of town, but within walking distance, being just minutes away. The motel is located next to the creek, and very close to Therapy...
