have paid more and got less. The few poor reviews I do not understand. Our second stay here. Very friendly staff. Very quiet being right on 89A. Very clean and extremely comfy. Breakfast in just fine. Far more than a continental b'fast. We plan to return. A great place in one of the greatest areas one can visit.

The Southwest Inn at Sedona is a great place to stay. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the view from our room and the in-room fireplace. The beds were comfy, as were the pillows. The free breakfast is outstanding. You must try the breakfast burrito, it was absolutely delicious and a great start... More

The hotel is okay but the soundproofing is poor. We heard a lot of noise from the children in the room next door. There are a lot of stairs to climb if your room is on the second floor, so keep this in mind if you have lots of luggage.

Spent two nights in this hotel. Conveniently located to sights we wanted to visit. Rooms were wonderful with 'boutique' amenities. Beds were very comfortable. Little balcony with view of mountains. Small pool with sunbathing area and small fitness room. Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:00, with breakfast burritos, cereal, toast, etc., not an elaborate breakfast fare but hearty enough to get... More

This is our reconnaissance trip to Sedona, and we wanted a place with some Sedona Style. Southwest Inn provides that beautifully. We love the subtle dark adobe finish, the curving arches, the balconies with views of the red rocks. We love the beamed ceilings. Our room is spacious and the bathroom larger than most chain hotels. We love the robes... More

We chose this hotel based on reviews of the great views. While it did have great views most places in Sedona seem to have good views. This hotel was so much more. It was charming, clean, comfortable, stylish, modern, well kept. They have a very caring and helpful staff. The pool and hot tub were amazing even though it was... More

Pictures are misleading. Rooms are clean and adequate. However, both room and bathroom are small, and bathroom is cheaply done. Inn is right on 89A, so traffic noise starts early. Our room was fairly far back, so I expect you can hear traffic in every room. Virtually no common facilities. "Included" breakfast was minimal DIY. Would be ok for 1... More

I made my reservation based on the reviews here on tripadvisor. Our room was very clean, good selection of food and had a very bright breakfast area which I love. Overall, it was a very pleasant overnight stay

Southwest Inn At Sedona (AZ) was a nice surprise to find. The room was lovely, included a fireplace, comfy bed & pillows, robes and keys that your cell phone won't de-magnify. The hot tub was large and clean. It was too cold for the pool so we did not go there. The walkways were attractive. The entire staff was wonderful.... More

What are you thinking? For 4 stars I expect a CLEAN updated room. The room is small, carpet is disgusting, the towels are totally threadbare, the pillows have mascara! on them and are small and lumpy, garbage floating in the jacuzzi, no outlets (good thing I brought an extension cord), everything old, dirt and old coffee spilled on the counter... SWINN-Owner, Owner at Southwest Inn at Sedona, responded to this review

On the day of your departure, we had numerous guests comment on what a special place the Southwest Inn is, and how much they enjoyed everything about the rooms, the breakfast, the Red Rock surroundings, and Sedona. So, how can so many be so right, and so few be so wrong? ON NEGATIVE ENERGY- Sedona is known as a very... More
