Our group meets annually in locations around the US. We wanted a place set apart and set in a beautiful location. Although the journey to get there was filled with traffic from Phoenix to Sedona, it was well worth the trip. Oak Creek Canyon, in which the Briar Patch Inn is set, is stunningly beautiful and calm. It is also... More

We just made our return trip to Briar Patch after several years and it has only gotten better. We arrived a little early but had no problem checking in. Our room, Blue Jay, was just as depicted in pictures and description. Ample room for two, comfortable bed, sitting area, large bathroom, small kitchen but packed with anything you might need.... We stayed at this Inn for a week. Set beside a river the cabins are excellent, clean and tidy and ours had a fireplace that we used every night. Breakfast is served everyday with fantastic homemade fare. Staff were very helpful and it was like staying at a private house; we were made to feel very much at home. We... More

I wrote a very detailed review about the Briar Patch. Please keep in mind that although I gave this Inn the highest rating of 5 stars, that is strictly my personal opinion and experience. However I feel that my observations may be appreciated by both visitors and Inn management. Trip: I booked this Inn for my husband's 30th birthday. We... More

My family and I (husband and two boys) stayed at the Briar Patch Inn for Spring Break 2015. This Inn is fantastic and is exactly as described. The location is perfect - close to Sedona but not too close. The atmosphere at the Inn is completely relaxing with perfectly landscaped grounds and unique and interesting touches throughout the property. The... More

This was the first Arizona trip for my new family. My wife and step daughter are mostly city folks, so I wanted to ease them into the idea of rocks and dirt and I thought Sedona would be the perfect place. I didn't have any past experience with Briar Patch Inn, but the online reviews were positive and the pictures... More

We love Dad "under pressure" for another stay with us! Learning to skip stones is one of life's special arts and we are so pleased that such a lesson was learned right here at the Briar Patch Inn! We are delighted indeed that the wonderful Red Rocks AND dirt was discovered here, along with what sounds like total rest and... More

A friend from Sedona referred us to the Briar Patch Inn and we were not disappointed. Our cottage was perfect, peaceful and made toasty with a wood fire each evening. It was perfect and along with great hospitality by the staff. Breakfasts were varied each morning and delicious as well.

Briar Patch Inn is in a beautiful location just a few miles outside of Sedona. The grounds are immaculately kept and great for taking a late afternoon stroll. There are outdoor bar-b-ques and sitting areas in different locations on the property, and, a beautiful sitting area overlooking the creek not far from the main lodge. We stayed in the Deck... More

Second stay and loved it again. The staff is great, the property is so peaceful and we love staying in the Ivy Room. There is so much to do in the area but we chose to unplug and take in the opportunity to be outdoors and hang out by the rushing stream. Do yourselves a favor and take at least... More

Everso many thanks to you! You made our hearts sing! We are always delighted to hear that our guests found their niche, away from the "world"! Do plan another visit soon. We will keep our little oasis just as you so nicely described it! More

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Briar Patch Inn. We knew going into it what was not offered (TV, Phone, WiFi). But it was really a nice change not having people on all sides of you and road noise. They have the small roads set up so that no traffic passes in front of your cottage (only... More
