Hotels in Sedona are not cheap! We choose this motel for the great price (around $65/night). Needs to be updated from outside, but the room totally surprised us. The room was clean, updated, with modern ammenities. Plus the comforter was white which is something you usually don't find even at those costly hotels. The white comforter allowed me to have... This was a great option for my friend and I. We did not want to spend a lot of money in a hotel, but comfort and cleanliness was important. We also knew that we wanted to hike and not be in the room a lot. The bed was great, nice a and soft. The room has a microwave, fridge and... More

If you want a top quality room, pay $200 a night but if you don't mind a little older place this was excellent. Four of us went to see Sedona and we got two rooms for $65 each. The rooms had two queen beds, flat screen TV, free WiFi, Fridge, micro, coffee maker, table and chairs. The room and the... More

The room we had was very nice, and very clean. The drawback to me was the location on a 4 lane busy "highway" with many traffic lights. If we wanted to head north on 89A we had to go right and then turn around because it was too difficult to make a left turn out of the hotel. There is a... More

This is a different kind of four-star place. Yes, it's not always about price - but when the price is $65 a night, and the room is clean & comfortable, and the location is close to perfect, and the staff is super friendly, then pay the money and use the savings on all the other amazing things in Sedona. While the price was quite good for Sedona and room was clean, the lack of updating gives things a dingy feel. Next time I'll go back to the slightly more expensive and updated budget motel I stayed at before.

Felt like we hit the jackpot with this hotel. In the middle of the Sedona experience, (great views, shopping, wonderful dining experiences), is a clean & cozy hotel, like finding a little cabin in the middle of the mountains. Best part is, it was so inexpensive we could still do all of the extras on our vacation! Another bonus is... More

What an excellent little motel this is. Not only was it cheaper than any other hotel I could find in the area, It also had a nice hot tub and a fireplace in the pool area going at night. The pool area also had a very nice gas grill that the front desk guy Jacob said we were free to... More

The Sugarloaf Lodge in Sedona was a great find! The budget price does NOT mean inferior. It's basic -- not glamorous ... but very clean and comfortable and a few nice surprises like a mini fridge, microwave, Wifi, blow dryer, mini coffee maker and iron as well as simple breakfast treats/juice/coffee available in the office each morning. Parking is easy... More

An older motel, but very clean and nice, and in a good location. Jerry at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Without hesitation, he found us a great nearby gluten free, vegan restaurant and even called to make sure it was open. There is beautiful xeroscaping on the property as well.
