This resort is in a beautiful as well as handy location. It is surrounded by the red rocks and trails, yet a short drive to anything else you would want to do. There are also restaurants etc. within walking distance. The grounds and views are spectacular, with a true feeling of a Resort! A beautiful pool is lit up at... More

This mini-resort was formerly called "Quail Ridge." A little south of Sedona proper which IMHO is a good thing. Family of four comfortably stayed in one of the A-frame, 2-story chalets. Several other families fit 5 with no problem. Wonderful mix of international and American guests. The photos on their website do not do their location justice. Incredible, private, quiet,... More

It was a pleasant surprise for a small property tucked away in Sedona, away from the hustle and bustle of the shops. So many things were right with this place - Sitting right outside of the "chalet", enjoying the red rock view, cooking on the grill and watching the kids swim. We were only going to stay one night, and... More

What a fantastic property! We stayed 2 nights in one of the chalets and couldn't be happier with our choice. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved the unobstructed views of the red rock. This place allows you to be as secluded or as communal as you like. We held hands and star gazed the first night and ended... More

Stayed 5 nights at the resort. Place was not fully booked while we were there so it was very quiet and we had the pool/firepit pretty much all to ourselves the whole time. Pool area was clean. Fire was lit every night at 7:30 with complimentary s'mores. Property is nicely landscaped. Unobstructed views of Bell Rock from all units. Linens... More

We were extremely happy with our pick of The Red Agave Resort for our first visit to Sedona. We thought the location was perfect. Only about 15 minutes from the center of Sedona, it was a calm oasis where we could enjoy the quiet, beautiful scenery right from our front patio. We had a studio room with a queen bed... More

I was a little nervous about our decision to stay here because there weren't many reviews online and the vistor centers didn't know much about the place. Come to find out the ownership and name had changed about a year ago. It is about 15 minutes from downtown Sedona and is very close to Bell Rock (great hike). We found... More

A perfect location if you are staying for biking/hiking. Bike & Bean was just around the corner and provided great service as well as maps/directions etc. The view from our chalet was totally stunning. In fact we all said that the view is what makes the place so special. The option of doing our own healthy cooking was a bonus... More

The Red Agave Resort is not fancy, but it was a great fit for our family vacation. The A-frame cabins offered plenty of room (children upstairs, parents with a separate bedroom downstairs, small living/kitchen area) and were clean and comfortable. It's not 4-star, but it was a good value and we would much rather be there than in a regular... More

We liked a lot about Red Agave. Highs: People running the joint, biking, view, convenience, beds, vibe, firepit. Lows: Spiral staircase (watch your head!), TV in loft didn't work. Note that we were there for the biking/hiking. Folks there for other activities would probably find this place less convenient.
