right in the middle of downtown Sedona, a hop away to shops/restaurants. This great little (Can I call it a boutique hotel?) is so nice! feels like a bed and breakfast- nice travelers can get together for complimentary wine/snacks in the evening- nice you can come downstairs in the mornings (even in your bathrobe!!) and grab complimentary coffee, tea, hot... The location of this hotel couldn't have been better. We drove in from Flagstaff, and upon locating the hotel we just pulled up to front entrance and car was parked for us. We were able to walk right up to the main street and go to shops, restaurants, etc. so the location was great. The pool looked nice (infinity) but... More

We stayed for 6 nights in this hotel as part of a large tour of Arizona. Sedona was a place we had always wanted to visit, and we were not disappointed in it at all. The town and the trails and the views are excellent. The hotel itself is in a good situation just off the main street, down a... More

The Amara was amazing! It was the perfect place for a girls trip. The morning yoga classes, free wine hour in the lobby, awesome infinity pool, and spa were all wonderful. The location was also great because you could walk to everything downtown in five minutes. The staff was also welcoming and always willing to help with info on great... More

Oh Kimpton, how I love your hotels. The Triton in SF in so edgy, the Palomar in San Diego so serene, the Monaco in Denver so cozy. I always look for a Kimpton so it's no surprise I chose the Amara Resort in Sedona for our 40th anniversary celebration. Our room, the Creekside Studio Suite was enormous! King bed was... More

Although we got off to a rocky (no pun intended) start as our room wasn't ready until after 5:00 pm and we had made a point to get up early so as to land in Phoenix prior to 11:00 am we had a wonderful stay. The front desk clerk "Ryan" went the extra mile by giving us in $40 resort... More

The location is great, right by all the little restaurants and shops but a bit of the beaten path so you can feel relaxed. We visited Sedona, Scottsdale and Phoenix and my favorite food was right here at the hotel. The room is just fine. Not extremely impressed but it had everything we needed.

I was at the Amara resort a few years ago and went back for a second visit. It was still amazing and I highly recommend it. Rooms have all been updated and are still really comfortable and clean. This time I was able to take advantage of the pool...which was gorgeous. An infinity pool with a breath taking mountain back... More

We spent a week here the last week of April this year, & we had a fantastic visit to Sedona Arizona!!! After a good bit of research we decided to stay here at Amara Resort & Spa for our spring girls trip...& I am so glad we did! This place was amazing & the resort grounds are stunningly good! The... The scenery makes this place special. The drive down the long winding road into Sedona makes your excited to see open sky and the red rock formations. Amara Resort was really a nice treat with excellent service. The valet was very impressive and they have a shuttle that will take you and drop you off and pick you up within... More
