We stayed at the Amara Resort for two nights. The staff was incredible and was always ready to help us. The hotel was definitely clean, but not super fancy. I recommend asking for the newly refurbished rooms. While booking your vacation there, keep in mind that you will have to pay a resort fee. More

We stayed at the Amara Resort for two nights. The resort is in an excellent location... walking distance to shopping, dining, sight-seeing and hiking. We only had breakfast at the resort but it was very good. The resort does need updating but the staff was wonderful. More

Having stayed at the Amara on two previous occasions I will say that I was a bit dissapointed this time around. First with the good, great location uptown, staff was helpful the bellmen outstanding, front desk did a good job with reservations for dinner and jeep tour, free bottled water.
