Hubby and I stayed at the Matterhorn for 2 nights. The second was our anniversay and the front desk helped my hubby arrange for a special anniversary dinner at a very nice restaurant across the street next to a nice little river. All the rooms face the street with a balcony, so you have amazing views all around. The traffic... more

Stayed at the Matterhorn Inn 9/6 and 9/7 (over Labor Day weekend) and just loved the place! The rooms are clean and layed out well so that taking a shower doesn't unnecessarily heat up the room. The views are magnificent, and you can enjoy them from your room's balcony. Mine was on the first floor and extended out over the... more

Stayed in room #43 from 9-14/9-18. Great views of Lucy and Snoopy rock from my 2nd floor balcony. I don't think it is really 16 steps up but they warn you. Nice clean room, Kingsize bed and very quiet although you face 89A. Great location and value. Excellent coffee served fresh across road just 1 block south of Motel. Can't... more

We stayed here for two nights in September of 2009. The room was very clean, and the views and location are the best. The staff were very friendly and we are anxious to return for another visit. In short, we simply love this place. We would highly recommend the Matterhorn to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable experience. more

Ideal location for walking to Jeep Tours, dining and shopping. Views were spectacular. Stayed on the second floor and the balcony seating made you want to stay longer. Staff was courteous, spacious room and bathroom - both very clean. AAA discount perfect price for vacationing teachers! KGF-From New Hampshire more

The Mattorhorn Inn is a great place to stay. The rooms are large and clean with the most spectacular view of Sedona's red rocks! The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. We look forward to staying here anytime we have the opportunity to be in Sedona and will recommend it to all of our friends. more

The staff is very friendly anad extremely helpful to find your way around town and suggest restaurants, jeep rides, etc. The rooms are exquisite, with granite on every surface and all the amenities: coffee, TV, internet, balcony w/chairs, nice bedding, good artwork, etc. The location is the best in Sedona....views galore, and walking distance to the main street below, or... more

I was in Sedona for business in June. The Materhorn has a great location with stunning views from the rooms. The staff is mostly friendly, and the cleaning staff is great. Overall my only complaint is that if your a smoke they have some pretty faschist rules on smoking(no smoking on your deck) Otherwise great place to stay more

The room was spacious and the view was outstanding. The staff was very helpful. At the far end of town, it is a great location for taking in the shopping area. I would suggest a second floor room because the decks are private and well shaded in the heat of day. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. more
