The Mattorhorn Inn is a great place to stay. The rooms are large and clean with the most spectacular view of Sedona's red rocks! The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. We look forward to staying here anytime we have the opportunity to be in Sedona and will recommend it to all of our friends. more

The staff is very friendly anad extremely helpful to find your way around town and suggest restaurants, jeep rides, etc. The rooms are exquisite, with granite on every surface and all the amenities: coffee, TV, internet, balcony w/chairs, nice bedding, good artwork, etc. The location is the best in Sedona....views galore, and walking distance to the main street below, or... more

I was in Sedona for business in June. The Materhorn has a great location with stunning views from the rooms. The staff is mostly friendly, and the cleaning staff is great. Overall my only complaint is that if your a smoke they have some pretty faschist rules on smoking(no smoking on your deck) Otherwise great place to stay more

The room was spacious and the view was outstanding. The staff was very helpful. At the far end of town, it is a great location for taking in the shopping area. I would suggest a second floor room because the decks are private and well shaded in the heat of day. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. more

Every couple years I stay here and it just keeps getting better. Great value for the money, even if this wasn't Sedona. Can't beat the location on the strip--don't worry about traffic noise because the hotel sits back from the streat and all rooms are about 3 stories above it. Since my visit in '2007 they've renovated the pool area.... more

I'm not usually a very harsh reviewer, but nothing really set well with me during our two day stay at the Matterhorn. While the price was right (around $145 before taxes), I found myself renegotiating the rate I got on the phone when I arrived, which was more than $40 more than I was told per night. Because no one... more

This is a great hotel...small and very convenient to many shops, cafes and restaurants. Our room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking the main street with a breathtaking backdrop of the beautiful red rocks. It was furnished with a king bed, small table, two easy chairs, small refrigerator and coffeepot. The front desk was helpful with dining options. We... more

Location in upper Sedona is perfect, out of the construction zone, can walk to lots of stores and restaurants. Free shuttle to downtown stops right by hotel. We had room on second floor with balcony....beautiful view. Spacious room, friendly staff, and by the back entrance was a big bucket with squeegee, window cleaner, and paper towels to clean the bugs... more

This was our second stay at the Matterhorn, and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are large and comfortable, with all amenities, and the view from the patio is stunning. Great uptown Sedona location, easy walking to all the shops and restaurants, plus hiking and scenery is close by. The only problem was very poor wi-fi access, virtually unusable. I was,... more

We stayed at this hotel several years ago and liked it. This time we had two chihuahas and so were given one of the four rooms designated as pet friendly. These rooms are on the ground floor behind the large patio where we found out that smoking is allowed, even though there is a sign that is by the front... more
