My husband and I stayed at Los Abrigados for a week. We exchanged our Palm Desert timeshare for a stay in Sedona. We had 2 rooms. One for us and one for our friends who traveled with us. The place is very well located. It's next to Tlequepaque, an amazing shopping and restaurant historical center. It has many galleries with... more

This was my first time I was tricked into checking out a time share. I went into a tourist information center that I later found wasn't really a tourist information center, but an center that leeches on tourist to try to bring them into a time share presentation. The women lured us in by telling us we could get a... more

My husband and I had a great stay. The rooms are very nice with a beautiful view and right in the heart of town. Only one very important detail. If you do the tour and do not purchase (I did not find it to be high pressure to buy) they will have you sign a paper saying you received a... more

As others have said, the rooms are cheaper because before my fiancé and I could check in, we were asked to attend a seminar to purchase a time share in order to have our room upgraded, which we immediately declined. The rooms are small, old, and drafty and it is incredibly difficult to find. There was a decent sized gap... more

We had Nancy Jo as our "presenter of the time share". She acted like she was our best friend until we would not buy her overpriced timeshare. She even got her "sales manager". My wife and myself got up and left. It's a great place to go, if you want a cheap hotel room, and you can handle the hard... more

We were told before going on the time share tour that one of us had to be 25. Though I'm over 25, my husband is 23. We sat through the tour for two hours and were heavily heavily pressured to buy. We signed the paperwork (to what we thought and were told repeatedly) were our exit papers for the tour,... more

BEWARE! My husband and I were approached by a saleswoman if we would like to stay a night for $59 in a really nice suite and all we had to do is go through a 90 minute tour. We said sure and we asked if there was any obligation and she said no and no hard pressure. She registered us... more

To sell timeshares, these rooms are offered at a low price. Should have known when I saw the dog pen in the lobby that this would be sub-par. Rooms are old, either very hot or too cold, no in-between. Carpet needs to be replaced. It's a shame because the location is good - but I cannot recommend this property. They... more

I got suckered into staying at their hotel when I agreed to go to a time share meeting. On the contract, it said that there must be two people to qualify, but the salesman said to disregard that clause and that I qualify anyway. What a mistake! The next morning, I went to the meeting and they told me that... more

We stayed at the Los Abrigados Lodge for a wedding that took place at the Resort and Spa over Labor Day weekend. It cost us $189 for two nights because we agreed to listen to the timeshare spiel. The hotel was fine for our purposes. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony view for no reason, which was... more
