This resort is about eight miles Noth of Sedona, a city I have not visited in 27 years. It sits on Owl Creek with mountains immediately on the other side. Our unit was number 43 and had a phenomenal view. The gorgeous mountains were right in front and the creek below. We could see the creek, but that likly is... More

We have chosen the Junipine resort because we wanted a place with kitchen a little bit outside of Sedona. You need definitely a car to arrive there. Actually it is beween Sedona (more near to Sedona) and Flagstaff, taking the 89A. In winter it takes time untill the sun hits the ground of the location. Our Creek house (No36) was... More

2 of us stayed 13 nites end of jan and early feb in unit 37 which was a corner unit with skylites throughout the unit and motorized window shades. more than enough room for two people with a narrow spiral staircase that led to an upstairs loft with 2 twin beds, full downstairs with beautiful modern kitchen, lovely western styled... Dear Doubletrip: First, thank you for choosing Junipine. We feel that our houses offer the best value in Sedona if you are looking for quality accommodations, living space, and a quiet, more remote location away from the busy Uptown shopping area. #37 is a great creekhouse and we appreciate your positive comments regarding the condition of the creekhouse and our... We have visited Junipine 3 times and love it! You are surrounded by mountains and the unit we have stayed in is beautiful. Staff always helpful. They have free movies, large decks right on Oak Creek. Beautiful views all around.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Next time will stay a week. Loved the accommodations! Views from resort were breathtaking! We were able to do small hike on mountainside right at resort. Sounds from the creek were so soothing...do recommend a Creekside room. Very quiet setting. Staff were helpful & very friendly.

Amy S: We appreciate your positive comments. We are a world away from the hustle and bustle of Sedona, yet we are just 8 miles north. Thank you for visiting, and I hope to welcome you back to Junipine soon. Chris More

I agree with other reviewers that this is more cabin accommodation rather than resort, having said that the cabins are a great size and price for a family. It is in a beautiful setting but be aware it is not in Sedona so if you want to do anything you have to drive quite a long way, which has to... More

We are just 8 miles north of Uptown Sedona, and there are more than 20 hiking trails and attractions within a 3 mile radius. Our restaurant is open seasonally, and I'm sorry that we were remodeling it during your visit. We have re-opened,... More

We booked a cottage for my wife and I and a friend from Australia that has done extension traveling. Simply, a wonderful place with pleasant surprises. Our cabin had firewood ready to burn, and full kitchen with anything you need to make a meal, and flat scene TVs with a number of DVDs available to watch before you go to... More

Very pretty, large units that are alongside the creek. It's not a typical hotel or resort in that the units are all owned but rented out when not in use. Very large and a fireplace in living room and bedroom. Only downside is it's a little bit of a drive to town and if you are just a couple going,... More

Very nice, rustic place to stay. They call this property a "resort" but that is stretching it quite a bit. Our cabin was beautifully furnished - top class materials throughout. Fireplace in living room and bedroom. Bathroom was spacious and deluxe. Minor issues: restaurant was closed for the month of January, little provisions to buy in the lodge.

Our family of 4 people stayed at the junipine resort last week in December 2014. Our cabin had a native american theme decorated with many Native American arts in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed, we were especially happy with the well-stocked kitchen, which made cooking very easy. Please do bring your own spices, as th cabin had... More
