I can't say enough good things about the Penrose. They are all about small touches and amenities, which makes a stay for us. We stayed for 3 days in the Mariposa room and could have stayed for weeks. To start, the home is at the end of a quiet, upscale residential area. If you are looking for easy access to... More

My husband and I stayed at The Penrose Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights in early June. We have stayed at many Inns across the country and by far, this was an excellent choice. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfasts were delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone I know. Hope... More

I can't say enough about the Penrose! The location could not be better, situated right at the base of two of the Red Rocks. And a great view of several more just a short distance away. The room for my wife and I had a balcony with a view of it all. In addition, the breakfast was both a nice... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and couldn't have picked anything better. We have never stayed in a B&B before and didn't know what to expect. The Penrose has set the bar high! The Kokopelli room was just right. Gorgeous view of the red rocks from the baloney and windows that run the entire length of the... More

5 stars does is not enough - more like 10 stars!! The hospitality of Chrissy, Caroline and Brandy was above and beyond - exceeding all expectations. The morning breakfast was superb - presentation was like something out of a magazine. Enjoyed the spectacular views right from our bed. We highly recommend this beautiful, warm and cozy B&B!! We stayed in the Yavapai room which is on the first floor, so no need to carry luggage up any stairs. Since Penrose is nestled high in the red rock our views from bed were unimpeded. Breakfast each morning was freshly made and delicious. The owners and employees of the Penrose are gracious and helpful. They gave us information and... More

We stayed 4-nights at the Penrose & can only RAVE about the beautiful people, views & location! It's nicely run & the staff shows such care and attention to each guest. We enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts (my favorite....lemon ricotta crepes with black cherry topping). We took advantage of the Grand Canyon tour (picked up at 7am at the Penrose &... More

The view alone from our room was worth it. Breakfast was superb. And the night quiet. Friendly staff and very nice accommodations. We thought the inn was in Sedona, but with the large crowds and unbelievable traffic, we were glad to stay in Oak Creek. It is a beautiful area but becoming overcrowded with seeming never ending spring break people... More

At the Penrose B&B every room has a spectacular view! Every detail is covered to make your stay wonderful, the breakfasts are fantastic and the innkeepers and all employees are very helpful in planning each day. My husband and I were there four days and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I literally just came back from AZ, and couldn't wait to write this review! First of all, the owners/staff are the best, so friendly! The room was really clean (really nice shampoo/conditioner!) and THE BEST view in Sedona. The hotel is very, very close to hiking which was nice as parking can be crazy at hiking trails, we just walked!... More
