We stayed in the Yavapai room which is on the first floor, so no need to carry luggage up any stairs. Since Penrose is nestled high in the red rock our views from bed were unimpeded. Breakfast each morning was freshly made and delicious. The owners and employees of the Penrose are gracious and helpful. They gave us information and... More

We stayed 4-nights at the Penrose & can only RAVE about the beautiful people, views & location! It's nicely run & the staff shows such care and attention to each guest. We enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts (my favorite....lemon ricotta crepes with black cherry topping). We took advantage of the Grand Canyon tour (picked up at 7am at the Penrose &... More

The view alone from our room was worth it. Breakfast was superb. And the night quiet. Friendly staff and very nice accommodations. We thought the inn was in Sedona, but with the large crowds and unbelievable traffic, we were glad to stay in Oak Creek. It is a beautiful area but becoming overcrowded with seeming never ending spring break people... More

At the Penrose B&B every room has a spectacular view! Every detail is covered to make your stay wonderful, the breakfasts are fantastic and the innkeepers and all employees are very helpful in planning each day. My husband and I were there four days and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I literally just came back from AZ, and couldn't wait to write this review! First of all, the owners/staff are the best, so friendly! The room was really clean (really nice shampoo/conditioner!) and THE BEST view in Sedona. The hotel is very, very close to hiking which was nice as parking can be crazy at hiking trails, we just walked!... More

The Penrose is, without a doubt, the best place to stay in Sedona. Superior service that starts as soon as you walk through the door. The warm, friendly staff made me feel at home. And the views!! Stunning from every angle. This was my first trip to Sedona, but it will definitely not be my last. And I'll only stay... More

This was our third stay at the Penrose and once again they provided a 5-star experience. No matter who is preparing those amazing breakfasts, Margie or Caroline, or serving them up on the deck with those amazing views, Debbie or Brandy, the staff at the Penrose is consistently fantastic. From check-in to check-out everyone makes you feel "right at home."... More

Recent three day stay was enhanced by this picturesque, comfortable, delicious B&B. First breakfast of fresh fruit cup, orange juice, coffee, and lemon ricotta crepes, again fresh berries, and sausage were delightful. All served on outside deck with views of Bell Rock and other magnificent massive red rock formations including right above the Inn. Fauna is also great and varied... More

We had such a wonderful time at Penrose. We were made to feel so welcome. Each and every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were so happy to be in the Village of Oak Creek rather than crowded Sedona. We spent a lot of time relaxing on our balcony looking at the beautiful red cliffs all around... More

The Penrose B & B is an awsome place to stay if you're a hiker or outdoor enthusiast. The views are spectacular, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts are amazing. The hosts are gracious and provide excellent information about this beautiful part of Arizona. We can't wait to return next year.
