My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Penrose while celebrating our 10 year anniversary in Arizona. It was the perfect choice. The rooms are lovely, with a simple, clean feel. The view from our room (Kokapelli) and balcony were unbelievable. The bathroom was large and had a jucuzzi, which was very nice. We opted for the "Romance Package",... more

The Penrose B&B has a fantastic location at the foot of one of Sedona's red rock formations. The views are spectacular from the guest rooms and the breakfast porch. Having the owners on site was a pleasant change from other B&Bs. The Popes were friendly, accomodating and informative. The breakfasts were simply delicious and the company was engaging and friendly.... more

We stayed in the yavapai room and loved it. Being on the first floor has its advantages and the views were awesome in the room and on our patio. Private entrance made us feel like we were at home. more

We recently spent three glorious days at The Penrose Bed & Breakfast. Located amidst stunning red rock formations, The Penrose provided both an easy access to Sedona’s/Oak Creek’s most famous attractions and a tranquil haven to retreat within at day’s end. Upon our arrival, we were thrilled with the manner in which The Penrose successfully captured a luxury resort feeling... more

I just got back from a 2 night stay at the Penrose..the view outside the balcony was stunning, breathtaking. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so pleasant, as the owners are the loveliest of people. I had the misfortune of eating something unpleasant at the airport en route, and became ill while there. They guided me to a very... more

We have NEVER sat and dined in a more spectacular setting; the view was absolutely beyond words. A postcard setting! The breakfast was phenomenal - from the fresh juice and coffee, to the baked whole pear in raspberry sauce set atop vanilla yogurt, with a unique french toast presentation (strawberries, pecans, whipped cream/cream cheese topping) - perfectly delicious! I understand... more

I have nothing but good things to say about this B&B! The setting was unbelievable. I'm so glad I didn't book a place in Sedona itself. It was perched in the rocks in a serene setting, but only 5 minutes from Sedona and anything else you wanted to see nearby. The rooms were clean, private and comfortable with private terraces... more

We decided to stay at the Penrose Inn to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was a great decision. The setting of the Inn at the base of the "Red Rocks" is spectacular. Our hosts, Whitney and Christie Pope, made us feel welcome. The food was excellent. And there are unlimited opportunities for exciting activities in the Sedona area. It... more
