A wonderfully traditional B&B with an authentic Sedona feel. The accommodation is modern, clean and has all amenities you could need. What really separates this place from the others are the exceptional customer service and unique touches put together by the friendly proprietors. The location is especially beautiful, with views of some of the major rock formations surrounding the site.... More

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights here on trip across country. Tripadvisor reviews helped me locate this spot for our time in Sedona. Located out from Sedona, with spectacular views all around, it's just a short drive into Sedona and not far from Jerome. We stayed in the Coconino room with breathtaking views from the bed, balcony, even... More

My husband and I loved our stay. We love it so much that we've visited 7 times over the past 8 years. The staff always treats us like family and the breakfast is phenomenal. The Penrose is the perfect stress reliever with it's great service, accommodations and beautiful location.

My Husband and I just returned from spending a delightful night at the Penrose. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast Inn with an incredible location and spectacular views. We stayed in the Kokopelli room which was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Breathtaking views from the large windows and private balcony just off our suite. The breakfast was delicious... More

This place is gorgeous with an absolutely stunning view. We only stayed one night but plan on going back for a more extended stay! The room was very comfortable and the layout was very cozy with serene patios on both sides of the house.

Upon arrival, we received a tour and explanation of breakfast routine. The room was comfortable with an individual bathroom and individual a/c control. We were given a key ring with a key to our room and to the front door which was kept locked much of the time for security. Each of the 5 rooms has it's own terrace with... More

We have only positive things to say about The Penrose. The room was very comfortable - good beds, easy chair, private balcony with outdoor furniture, private bath, spotless housekeeping, sumptuous linens. Most important in this part of the country - A ROOM WITH A VIEW, a spectacular room with a view! Whitney and Christie were gracious hosts. They love the... More

Our party of 4 had never been to Sedona and booked 1 night stay in the Penrose on our way to Grand Canyon, Zion National Park and Santa Monica in late June 2014. What a beautiful area and what a gem of accommodation The Penrose is - we all wished we had planned a longer stay. Our hosts who were... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the Penrose. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view (even in the bathroom!). We stayed in the coconino, which is possibly the smallest room, but with the best views! The breakfast was delicious every single day. The staff was helpful and kind. We enjoyed the special surprises the owners provide, such as evening... More

Whitney and Christie are wonderful proprietors of this enchanting property. The rooms are clean and cozy, each with an incredible view of the red rocks. Located in a quiet area, which offers a relaxing experience. Whitney never fails to offer advice and assistance for getting around the area, and they are so close to many ruins, sites, and shopping, you... More
