The Baby Quail Inn is a professionally run establishment. The owners Misty and Dick and their staff welcome you with open arms and cater to your needs and requests. When we arrived after a long day of travel, we immediately felt a sense of peace and home surrounding the inn. We found our room to be very comfortable as well... more

The Baby Quail Inn had gone through a lot of changes but by the time we arrived in August 2009 it was just about perfect! The Baby Quail is a small Inn which resembles a tiny (12 room?) motel only in that it is not a renovated old house but a two story building with access through doors opening onto... more

A small place with very comfortable beds, fridge and microwave, quiet and clean, shower only, but the sink counter was enormous, all 6 of us could’ve spread cosmetics on one! There is no soda machine, good thing we stopped on the way at Safeway for drinks and snacks. Nicely landscaped yard with tables, rocking chairs, loungers, hot tub, bird feeders.... more

My friend and I were looking for a deal in Sedona and weren't interested in a resort type setting. This is it. Centrally located within driving distance to interest points. The rooms were modest but very clean and with a modern decor. The views weren't spectacular, but we weren't interested in seeing the views as we slept. Walk or drive... more

Three million tourists trek through Sedona every year so it is a sellers market and hotel owners feast on the poor travelers who only want to experience the incredible beauty of the red rocks. There are not many places in this country where you will be expected to pay $ 120 to 180 a night for a mediocre room with... more

We arrived late from the grand canyon but the innkeeper was helpful with directions to the hotel and showed us how to get to the resturant we wanted to eat at. The rooms were nice, clean had all the amenities we needed. I was a little disappointed in the lack of view and the noise of the traffic was a... more

This little place is in just the right place! One building away from 89A (one of the main drags) but actually on a residential street...quiet but convenient. One of best restaurants in town is right across street (Heartline). Whole foods store, organic restaurants, mystical shops, etc are also close by. Across street from municipal pool which could be nice in... more

The Lo Lo Mai Lodge has changed owners! The motel is now called the Baby Quail Inn, and I must say, I am beyond impressed! The new owners are re-modeling the exterior... and soon the interior, it is like a brand new inn! It is obvious that the inn is in a new era, everything is getting cleaned, beautified, upgraded...... more

My husband and I were planning our honeymoon. We scheduled a 5-day raft trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and were sightseeing in Arizona for an additional 5 days. We wanted someplace to stay in Sedona, because we flew into Phoenix and were driving to the Grand Canyon for the raft trip. We booked a specific room,... more

As other reviewers have said the Lo Lo Mai is just off 89A and you can indeed walk to some strip Mall shops but you'll need to drive about 5 miles to the "core" shopping areas of Sedona. I stayed in room 7 on March 24 and 25th, 2005 and the following were items in dis-repair: -Deadbolt was inoperable, loose... more
