We stayed in room 272; a King Room with kitchenette, propane fireplace and large, private deck with the most amazing views! This room is right on the ridge, and the last one on the right-hand side. It was an integral part of our Sedona stay and the best accommodations of our entire Arizona trip! Our only regret is not staying... More

We had a very basic room with a kitchette, no fireplace but it was clean. Grounds are pretty and it's nice to be out of town up on the hill. The Mesa grill is a short walk away and we enjoyed our supper there. There is a vortex that can be accessed on the road up to the hotel. Hot... More

This was the 3rd time we've stayed here. The room we had came with a fireplace. We had our 2 small dogs and the additional charge of $10 per pet is nominal, although if we had stayed several nights, I think that would be excessive. (We usually stay at LaQuintas, but the one in Sedona received fairly poor reviews.) The... More

I liked the old-fashioned, sort of outdated room, liked the back porch view, as well as the sunset viewing deck. The location was perfect for me, as I wanted to be able to go out to look at the stars without too much light pollution, and the back part of the property served that beautifully. I would have left a... More

This was our first time in Sedona. Had a hard time deciding btw a hotel in town and Sky Ranch. After seeing the hustle and bustle of the town, we were so glad we went with Sky Ranch Lodge! It's in an ideal location, esp. If you have a rental car. Stayed in room 171- double queen, fireplace, and views.... More

The rooms are big and basic but staying here is all about the view! Since the hotel is up on a ridge you can see the valley and then the beautiful sedona red rock formations right out the back large windows and even small patio out the back door of your room! What a treat to wake up to! We... More

We came here to celebrate Valentine's Day. Large clean room with small complete kitchenette. Bed was comfortable and extra blanket if needed. Fireplace for ambience. Walk out to patio with breath taking views of the red rock mountains. In the morning saw hot air ballons flying over the mountain. Staff was friendly and maintenance supplied us with extension cord right... More

This is a lodge, not a hotel, so not fancy. The room was definitely outdated, but large and clean. The beds squeak, and aren't overly comfortable. I feel that it is overpriced, but it's location is spectacular. I was there in January so the pool and hot tub were closed. The sauna was open but I did not check it out.... More

My husband and i came here to celebrate my birthday and this place was recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed. Very friendly staff and clean room. We enjoyed our stay here and will return again. I loved the grounds, very nice to walk around. I don't understand the people who were disappointed, I loved it here.

Obviously Sky Ranch Lodge is the only game in town when it comes to accommodations on the top of the Airport Mesa overlooking the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. We booked it based on price (it is a medium-priced property; not cheap by any means), red rock views and based on Trip Advisor reviews. We booked on their web site... More
