I was told about th Sky Ranch Lodge by a dear friend after I felt the call to visit #Sedona, AZ. This is not a fancy facility, but it is clean, refreshing & peaceful with man made streams and a few bunnies hopping among the green landscaping. I drove up from Phoenix airport in the dark and could see the... More

Sky Ranch Lodge over looks Sedona and the Red rocks. Our room was very spacious with two comfy queens. A small porch with seating extends off the back side of the room. Great views from the porch A microwave, a small refrigerator and a coffee pot are in the rooms.

Originally I wrote my review of Sky Ranch on the spot before checking out but later decided to give them the benefit of comparison, ie what else can I get for this price? Turns out I can get a much nicer bathroom, a full sized kitchen or breakfast with in house restaurant, and a closer view of the red rocks... More

Arriving at night, I wasn't to sure about my decision. It's only about 5 minutes from center of town. Well, all uncertainty quickly vanished when I saw the view from the property. Gorgeous! The night view overlooking the city is beautiful. The room is nice, and ours had a gas fireplace. Its a comfortable and quiet location. Even though its... More

This place was great when built in the 60's but it has not been updated since. There is no heat in the bath,. The tile floors are crazy cold as wind comes right through the door to the outside. Great place to view the stars right? Wrong. Outside lights next to your door cannot be turned off so there is... More

Thank you for your feedback. Sky Ranch Lodge was built and established in 1982. There are several viewing spots through out our 6 acre property. The Rim View rooms are very popular for star gazing. Actually, the stars are much brighter at the top of the mesa because we are 500 feet above the city below. I apologize about the... More

To start this, my daughter had booked this place for her wedding long in advance. All seemed to go well except for a few problems with the coordinator and her quitting, working with someone else but all had got worked out and scheduled. Apron arriving, the check in was ok, not the greatest but ok. The view was awesome, the... More

The hotel has the most amazing views of Sedona. People come from all over town to catch the views from here. We were on the second floor and had our own balcony which is great for watching the sun set. The down side is that you have to haul your luggage up the stairs. The bonus is that you can... More

We love Sedona. Especially in Christmas. This hotel however was a great disappointment for us. Pros: Amazing view. Gas fireplace. Good internet speed (unsecured though) Cons: Winter time in Sedona is freezing cold. If you like hot shower - this is not your hotel. Each hotel room has a very small tank that last for one person shower. Next shower... More

Thank you for expressing your side of the situation. I was shocked to see such a low review after adjustments were made during your stay. Perhaps, on your next visit you should have two rooms to accommodate five people. More

Nice rooms, good size. Very clean as well. Views are amazing! Didn't have much time to walk around, but what we did see was amazing. Office staff was friendly, even thou we did arrive later in the day. All in all a good visit and will stay there again if in the area!

The Sky Ranch Lodge has the perfect view of Sedona. We watched balloons in the distance and were able to see some of the best sunrises and sunsets that we have seen in a while. The property is next to the Airport, but I did not experience a lot of noise while sleeping. If you are a light sleeper, might... More
