First and foremost, I have been in the hospitality industry – either with hotels, convention bureau, or as a meeting planner – since 1980. And I don’t believe I have ever had such a flawless, seamless, and totally enjoyable experience with a hotel or resort! From the beginning, when Lisa and I started our conversations with you, through our trials... more

We have been staying at L'Auberge for many, many years, and have always found it to be one of the most charming places in the country. The location is just magical, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the food is great, the service is exemplary, and not one thing about the place is mundane. Those who seem to worry about... more

My wife and I were somewhat nervous after reading reviews that ranged from one to five stars. There is no doubt that the hotel has a significant expansion underway and the sights and sounds of that expansion certainly do not add to the experience. That said, my wife and I had a delightful stay at L'Auberge. We had a creekside... more

This is the second time I have stayed at L'Auberge and I had a wonderful time again. I stayed 2 nights in a Creekside cottage and I cannot think of a nicer place. The peace and tranquility I experienced every morning I opened the doors and every evening I sat on the porch was priceless. Walking down to the creek... more

We had two separate creekside cottages. The view was great of oak creek, but not of the mountains that made Sedona so famous. The complimentary early evening wine and cheese tasting at the main lodge was wonderful, especially after a hike. The service was exceptional, but the amendities in our cottage was adequate. The creekside cottage was a lot smaller... more

Before I rant about the $25/night mandatory service charge, let me say that we must have gotten there after all the construction had taken place, because our room was absolutely gorgeous. This room had only been open for two weeks. Beautiful king bed, comfortable with all the luscious bedding you could possibly want, lovely bathroom etc. No view at all,... more

My husband and I left the L'Auberge on April 14th after a five night stay and what a waste of money. When it was dry it was a dust bowl and when it was wet it was a mudslide. The construction was awful. We awoke to it every morning at 7 am. We stayed in a cottage and had a... more

My wife and I stayed at L'Auberge for three nights in early April. The staff were remarkably friendly and the location is beautiful. However, the hotel is severely overpriced. We stayed in a cottage (not creekside), at between $350-$380/night. Although clean, the cottages are not spectacular. They seem to be unable to decide whether the cottages should resemble a luxury... more

Potentially this could have been a great place to stay, but we weren't warned about some major construction work going on ....... so instead of staying two nights we checked out after our first evening. Although the location and service at this hotel is great and the food at the restaurant good if not overpriced we feel it was unfair... more

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our wedding. My husband and I wanted a destination wedding with just our immediate families present. We wanted to keep it small, romantic, and intimate. L'Auberge was just perfect! Their Intimate Wedding Package was just what we were looking for and the location overlooking the red rocks was so unique. We had dinner creek... more
