First off, this is not a bad place to stay at all. However, in the age of online reviews, hotels need to ensure they exceed expectations. One way to do this is to avoid trumpeting about accolades which set expectations above what they are realistically able to meet. We had a Vista Cottage, with an awesome view of the red... More

L'Auberge is a gorgeous property nestled in Sedona by a creek.Very charming setting! Fantastic service along with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Convenient location in Sedona. Stayed in the Vista Suite which had amazing view of the Red Rocks. It was a perfect room for my husband and 13 year old. Would certainly go back!

My husband and I have visited Sedona several times as his mother lives nearby. This was our 2nd stay at L'Auberge this time in a Spa Cottage. I was there for 5 nights, 3 of those days by myself since my husband went to Supai hiking with friends for 2 nights. Never once did I feel uncomfortable being alone. The... More

We recently spent 2 nights in The Lodge and although the surroundings are beautiful I really couldn't rate this as a 5 star luxury resort. Our room in the Lodge was nice, clean and had a lovely private courtyard area, however, the bathroom was tiny. We had no full length mirror and one of the closet doors wouldn't close. There... More

Where do I begin? First off, let me just say that I love the L'Auberge branding, it's so elegant, so simple, but so wonderful. When you hear the name, you just want to go and stay there! L'Auberge in french means "the Inn" but it's much more than that. This place is listed on the list of the top 100... More

A breath taking experience! Our last 2 nights of an already incredible vacation were spent at L'Auberge in Magical Sedona. THOSE 2 days were the highlight of our 9 day trip. The hotel's footprint along a fast moving creek was magnificent! Cottage #1 was incredible with a huge patio over looking the creek with a romantic outdoor shower that we... More

We stayed in July and it was hot while we were hiking on the formations and exploring the town. Coming home to L'Auberge de Sedona was the perfect contrast to our hot days. The beautiful creek area was shaded with trees and the sound of running water was a constant reminder to let go and relax. The staff was extremely... More

Just returned from this beautiful resort where my friends, son, and I enjoyed 3 nights. I want to say that the only reason why I did not give the resort 5-stars is because we were never able to get our room cool enough at night. We did not complain either because we did love our accommodation which was our private... More

Went to the restaurant today for our second time, it was awesome. We decided to go shopping after we ate, and it's obviously a long walk up the hill driveway leading to the resort's main building. One of your workers, a valet associate I assume, by the name of Beau took the liberty of offering the 5 of us a... More

My husband and I spent two nights here to celebrate our anniversary. It was, quite simply, heavenly. I don't think the hotel can take credit for the scenery, but they certainly know how to capitalize on it. The dining room looks down on the creek; if you'd rather dine al fresco, get a table creekside. Hometown pressures just floated downstream,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
L’Auberge de Sedona has the privilege of being one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Surrounded by the towering red rocks of Sedona, we have an extraordinary and unique location on the banks of Oak Creek, where the air is cooler, the scenery even more beautiful and the atmosphere so tranquil and romantic that even the most seasoned traveler is awestruck. With staff who genuinely care – who greet you with warm, sincere smiles and go above and beyond to ensure you have a truly magical stay. We offer 87 meticulously appointed guest rooms and cottages spread across 11 acres of landscaped grounds. The cottages all have fireplaces and private decks; most have separate outdoor showers. Have a romantic dinner on our creekside patio, and you’ll see why L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek was named "One of the Top Ten Restaurants in the Southwest" by Condé Nast Traveler. We’ve also received the Wine Spectator’s "Award of Excellence" 19 consecutive times. Our $25 million refurbishment includes a new indoor/outdoor wine bar and dining patio and an expanded spa for lounging after your day’s activities. And if you want more, there are lots of extras like yoga classes, daily duck feedings, evening stargazing sessions and pet-friendly rooms. But don’t take our word for it.
