My husband and I spent 2 evenings in one of their cozy cabins. Their breakfast & dinners were delicious. Plan on coming hungry. We did not need lunch on those days. The service was also exceptional. The cabin we stayed in was just like a cabin. Nothing fancy very cozy and clean. Enjoyed our little porch. Their grounds are beautiful... More

Quiet, restful getaway in Oak Creek Canyon. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The setting is nothing short of beautiful. The food includes an afternoon tea, superb dinners, and excellent breakfasts, all part of the lodging cost. We found the absence of TV and computers very relaxing. The staff is cheerful, friendly, and helpful. A totally relaxing visit... More

This was our second stay at Garlands and, to give you an idea of how much we enjoyed it, we've already booked four nights for next spring. Frankly, I'm not sure there are many places left in America with this sort of "traditional" hospitality, combined with a stunning setting. Up until recently, Garlands had been owned by the same folks... More

This was at least our tenth year going to Garland's. I have raved about Garland's in most of those years. But last year, 2013, we were very disappointed in the food. So disappointed, in fact, that we said that we would rethink our October vacation if the food did not improve in 2014. Well, it did improve, but it was... More

We have been going to Garlands for 6 years and have never been disappointed. While it has been sold, Mary was there each morning to great us as usual. We really did not see any difference and the front desk was great, as usual! Food, grounds, friends - everything was Excellent.

We've been going to Garlands for over 25 years. We missed going last year, so were very excited to be there last week. The new manager let us know the Garlands are no longer owners, and unfortunately it really shows. The manager was rude and unwelcoming. She embarassed us terribly in front of our guests (our doctor and lawyer). The mandatory... More

Dear Ventana Concierge, I am sorry that your stay last week was not up to your expectations. Though the lodge has been sold, we are trying to keep up the Garland’s tradition of making everyone feel like family. I understand that my actions were off-putting, not only to you, but to your family and friends as well; I apologize. In... More

Garland's Oak Creek Lodge is a true gem! Tucked away in Oak Creek Canyon, you feel like you are away from everything. Everything about the property encourages you to relax and enjoy yourself. The cabins are comfortable and quiet. Some come with a fireplace. Walking around the property gives you the opportunity to see the orchards, watch apple cider being... More

My brother and his wife have been going to, and raving about, Garland's Lodge for seven years. It took us two years to secure a reservation. We were absolutely delighted. Garland's was originally a hunting lodge with three log cabins by Oak Creek. Today it is a wonderful lodge with gormet breakfasts and dinners. Meals, as well as casuel tea,... More

We have been going to Garlands for about 10 years and love it more every year. The grounds, creek, cabin, garden, food, yoga and general peaceful environment is very special. The hiking and biking around the lodge and in Sedona is fun....or simply sitting on the porch with a good book makes for a lovely get-a-way.

Garland's is consistently a wonderful experience. The gourmet food, peaceful surroundings, relaxing cabins, and Oak Creek Canyon scenery are cherished by our family. Garland's continues to serve us as an annual birthday getaway and family treat. The 2014 Oak Creek Canyon fire did not touch the lodge but did damage some surrounding forest lands. Nevertheless the canyon's beauty and the... More
