We stayed here on the last night of a 10 day trip - only b/c we had to get to the airport in Phoenix the next day. Although we weren't particularly impressed with the city of Scottsdale, we LOVED the hotel. It was clean, the bedding was comfortable, the room was spacious and the staff were very friendly/helpful. There was... more

We stayed for three nights at this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend. We found it an ideal place to recover from our jet-lag and start our US holiday. The room was large and very comfortable with sleeping and seating areas divided by a huge flat screen TV which could be tilted according to where we were sitting. We had... more

We spent 1 night at the Hyatt Place Old Town Scottsdale in early May 2009. The hotel was very good in all respects. The check-in was easy and quick and we were given a room on the top (6th) floor which is preferable as some of the other guests at breakfast were complaining about the noise from the night club... more

I found this place through hotels.com. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very pleasant & helpful. The location is only a couple of blocks from Old Town shopping, dining, a free trolley to take you to all the hot spots, etc. They also have free wi-fi & a nice little food counter for sandwiches, salads, & breakfast... more

The rooms are a good size because you are only sleeping in them. Nice big wide screen TV. The complimentry breakfast was great. The place was always clean. The front desk people were very helpfull when we had questions about where to eat. If you needed directions to anywhere they could tell you how to get there. Everyone of the... more

This hotel is conveniently located and has spacious, comfortable rooms, but has some drawbacks. First, the good: I really liked the big lounge-y area with comfy sofa, ottoman and big tv screen. The room was tastefully, minimally decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel is within easy walking distance of nice canal area, touristy "old town" district, and the Giants... more

Stayed here this week for work. Pros: * great location * very good service * free parking * huge flat screen TV * good rate Cons: * only had handicap room - No sink in the bathroom but across from the bed * Odd layout - and not comfortable * seemed a little run down and worn * maybe it... more

The hotel is modern with nice large flat screen TV with HD and sitting area. The room is tight, with no where to really put your suitcases. The bed is a little firm, but we are also used to a pillowtop bed at home. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep while you enjoy activities in Scottsdale, this is... more

I am an airline pilot, and I stay at many hotels...mostly in the Westin Chain. I am very impressed with this property. The room was so inviting ..with the 42 inch LG plasma TV...perfect for watching the Olympic games when I arrived. Desk area with FREE wi-fi. The layout is different from most hotel rooms, but very well planned out... more

Good quality hotel, nice sized room. 42 inch plasma TV. Separate living and sleeping area, bathroom rather small but adequate, separate vanity unit. Iron and ironing board rather difficult to find, concealed behind mirror in vanity area. Fridge and work/dining area, comfortable large sofa. Bed very comfortable, the airconditioning required all the time and is quite noisy. Small guest kitchen... more
