My mom, sister, and I stayed in this hotel over the weekend in April 2015 for a girls weekend. We wanted to explore the area, shop, hike in the desert, and Lay by the pool. Even though this was one of the "cheaper" resorts in Scottsdale, it had amazing views, a nice patio, a nice pool, and even bar and... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite at the Scottsdale Marriott McDowell Mountains for a 3 night stay during Spring Break to see some Spring Training games. It is quieter, upscale location in North Scottsdale with lots of nearby dining options. Pros: - Great service all around from check-in, concierge, dining staff, and housekeeping - Many rooms have great views... More

We fled an awful hotel and ended up here. What a great property. Beautiful golf course views. Dog friendly. Charles, the valet, made us feel welcome from the first moment. Jerry, grace and Joachim, in the restaurant were lovely. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Food outstanding (try the chicken quesadillas). The rooms are large, very clean, and... More

Contemporary pleasant well appointed rooms in a quiet corporate park setting make this Marriott a good bet for an enjoyable stay. Resort feel, however, is compromised by a ho-hum pool. Hot buffet breakfast is excellent but expensive ($20 pp). Friendly efficient bellman service and excellent knowledgeable concierge service are big pluses, but hotel is a drive from downtown Scottsdale, restaurants,... More

Although my dad and I did not play golf, this is a great location for the TPC Waste Managememt (Crazy Par 3 Hole) golf tourney. Parking very easy...not cost. Great bar in main lobby..fire place. Perfect to watch TV..have dinner. Pool area, workout were perfect. Really no complaints about this hotel.

The Scottsdale Marriiott at McDowell Mountains, on first blush, is pretty much like any Marriott. Which, of course, is why I choose to stay at Marriott in the first place. You know what you're gonna get. This property goes above and beyond the regular, and the reason is the staff. My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks while... More

The hotel room was clean and spacious. It is nice to have a sitting area as well as a bedroom. The third floor was quiet and overlooked the golf and courtyard. The shampoo and conditioner weren"t replaced however I sure they would have if I asked. AC was amazingly strong! Wonderful location. Restaurant is OK...go out to eat and enjoy... More

From the moment we checked in, we received top notch service. The bell staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are always ready to help, and with smiles on their faces. Our room had plenty of space for the 5 of us. We received lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. We were traveling... More

A truly relaxing hotel. Great pool and hot tub. Took a chance at eating at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the varied menu. Service was a little befuddled but succeeded in rebounding. Good wine selection. The rooms were large suites that were very quiet. The next time I'm in the Phoenix area, this is where I'm spending my... More

Patio looking into courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. Nice size room and enjoyable to work in. Very comfy bed. Very much enjoyed our visit and spent two extra days to explore area. Centrally located but if you want to stay in, restaurant on site was very good with excellent service.
