The pools and golf amenities are great, and the front desk staff is cordial and responsive. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is very expensive ($28/person) and of poor quality. Wait staff at breakfast were reluctant to give out the ala carte menu, forcing customers to buy the more-expensive buffet.... Loved the grounds. Kids loved the slides. Liked fishing. Caught catfish and a bass. Service was good. We got lowest category of a room but it still was nice with a nice garden view and huge bathroom with walk in closet. We were in B building. Ethan in the kids area was nice and helpful. Resort fee and old phones... More

A little back ground on us. My twelve year old son and I have travelled in the US, Caribbean, Mexico, Asia, South America, and Europe and stayed in five start luxury hotels, small boutique hotels, and all inclusive hotels in many countries. We are not super picky as long as the hotel is nice, clean, good staffs, and "worth the... More

I booked this at the last minute and wasn't disappointed. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I wasn't able to use the spa but I did some retail therapy at the Prickly Pear and I can't wait to sport my new cover-ups. The rooms are spacious (I stayed in bldg c) and decorated nicely. Next time I'll bring the... More

The Fairmont Princess treated my family like royalty. From the moment we pulled in to the hotel, our ever need was catered to. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and the staff was attentive! The pools were perfect and plenty of chairs for all!

Ended up trying Hotwire for the first time and this hotel was under the 5 star category. This is not a 5 star hotel. I just left the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and that is a 5 star hotel. This is a 3 star hotel with lots of pools. Biggest problem is 85 percent of the guests are here as... More

Very classy, well run property. Staff is outstanding and great location in Scottsdale. You certainly pay for the luxury, the onsite restaurants are pretty good, but the bars are great. I would recommend getting off property for dinner because they can be pricey.

I stayed in a Casita suite that's located at the back of the resort. If you're running late to any meetings, I'd highly suggest that you call for a golf cart escort. The drivers are from the bell-service area and they are usually on time if you tell them when you need to be picked up. The resort was HUGE... More

I traveled to Scottsdale on March 31, 2014 for business, almost three weeks prior to my travel, twenty days to be exact, I wanted to change hotels, and called the Fairmont to cancel my reservations. I booked two rooms as I was traveling with another business associate. My credit card was charged the day before and I was told that... More

Loved our stay here. The Fairmont staff always take such great care of us. The grounds are beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the pool by the casitas watching the owls in the trees. The spa was a wonderful experience as well.
