We flew from SFO to PHX on a Saturday morning and returned Sunday afternoon. Purpose: hang at the pool and enjoy the Sun. We took a cab to the hotel - about $60. It is about 25 minutes from Curb to Lobby. Our king room was very nice, clean, and quiet enough. It had a large TV, about 37 inches... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights over Memorial Day Weekend. We found the hotel very nice overall. The lobby is very open and welcoming and everyone was friendly. Our room was a good size and we found the decor pleasant-- not a typical southwestern theme, tending more towards a retro 70s-type style. Some additional pluses: the included breakfast... more

I didn't know anything about this place nor have I visited Arizona before but I was very pleased. From the moment I arrived until the time I left, everyone and everything was great! With the economy being the way it is, I can't afford to go back anytime soon, but I will certainly do everything in my power to re-visit!... more

The hotel and grounds were amazing, the staff was excellent. I was actually amazed how empty the hotel was, we had no problem getting seats by the pool any time of day. If you like golf or tennis the facilities are top touch. more

We took a long weekend and stayed at the Fairmont. 2 adults and two children (aged 5 and 4). The resort is great. Don't hesitate to book it if you are on the fence. Even though I was not a fan of the setup of the room, it grew on me. the TV was angled funny but it was not... more

We stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale in March of '09 for 6 nights and loved every minute of it! The hotel isn't just like any other hotel, it truly gives you the feeling that you are staying in a high-end resort with pool-side service and an outdoor bar area. The rooms were large with very nice bathrooms (shower, tub, double... more

The Fairmont Scottsdale is a resort hotel a long way from anywhere. The hotel complex is so big that one has trouble finding one's way around the complex. It was a five minute buggy ride to the front desk! The air conditioning in our room didn't work and eventually the repairmen got it to work to some extent but it... more

Fairmont Spa is one of the best I have ever been to (and I've been to many from La Costa to Miraval). If you book an appointment, you have access to a fitness center, fitness classes, rooftop pool (which was empty when I was there), outdoor cafe, and more. The food was just ok, but we mostly ate outside of... more

Went there for a work group event and loved it. The property is great, service awesome but the spa is not to be missed. Probably the best spa I have ever visited anywhere! It's a must go and spend a full day there if you can - taking advantage of the roof top pool. more
