I've stayed at the Fairmont and the Zona. I guess I prefer little boutique style hotels, becaause I like the Zona more, even though it isn't a 5 star hotel. It's quiet, cute, the rooms are very simple, nothing special, but there is nothing pretentious, snobby, or aristocratic about the Zona, which is a welcome change when you get tired... More

We stayed at the Xona and the Zona 2 times, stayed the Fairmount Princess our first trip. The Zona was less pretentious. The other guests were nice people for the most part. Other vacationers, some long term for work. It was clean, staff was always friendly. The bar and restaurant were good, the bartenders and waitresses great. I am sorry... More

My sister and I stayed here last summer towards the end of a 3,000 mile road trip. We usually only stayed one night in each place, so used basic motels mostly. We were planning on having a few days near Phoenix so decided we wanted somewhere a bit nicer where we could relax. It was pretty late when we arrived... More

We stayed at the Zona from Aug-mid October 2013 while I was going to Sunridge Medical. There are certain small apartments set aside for those who are staying in nearby clinics though others are still rented rooms. The Zona is very dog friendly, we stayed during the hot season and really only got 2 tv stations at the time. Hey,... More

Sixteen of us spent 5 days at Zona Resort last September. We arrived en masse and check-in process was quite simple (as was the check-out). The hotel was expecting us and set up separate charge accounts for each of us, provide keys and gave us good directions on where to park and how to access our rooms from the parking... More

I would highly recommend this property. Very clean. The staff was great. The rooms were very spacious and felt like home. The pool area was well kept. Everything we expected and more. Would stay there again.

We stayed here in May. The room was large, as it was a suite. Nice little living room, kitchen (not a kitchenette, full on kitchen), and the bedroom and bathroom were toward the back, with a balcony (or patio). The resort was relatively large, with 4 pool areas. All of which are different... pick your pool based on your mood.... More

We were only here the one night. Our room was good. The grounds were pretty with the four pools. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was good. What we didn't expect was the service charge of $15 on top of our vouchers.

This hotel was just average. Although the room I stayed in appeared to have been updated recently with newer appliances in the kitchen the place definitely needed another update. The bathroom door had a hole in it and the bathroom was rusted at the based around the whole shower, and there were other small items that were stained and appeared... More

Spent the 4th of July weekend at Zona with friends. Was a great weekend. The kids enjoyed the pools (there were 4 of them) as well as the fireworks display put on by the Fairmont Princess Resort next door. The only downside was to find out the next day after checking in that the restaurant was closed from 10-4 pm... More
