I had the unfortunate luck of staying at the El Dorado with my husband and two children. I booked/paid for 2 nights and left early for the following reasons: 1. Reserved and paid for "deluxe" room which I was not given but instead got an unremodled room with dingy old furniture and bonus tortilla chips left in the chair cushion... More

This is a total throwback to the late 60s Madmen theme of a romantic getaway with the possibility for a swinger interaction - of course that's not at all what we were looking for. The grounds are cute, the pool is fine, the jacuzzi is nice, the outside TVs and firepit are relaxing and entertaining. Parking sucks, they have no... More

It's more like a motel but a really cool one, surrounding a very nice pool layout. We checked in before 3 p.m. but the room was not ready. However the staff put our luggage in a room in the lobby and we headed over to the pool and just relaxed in the sun. The suite itself was great, with a... More

Wasn't sure what to expect but I really liked this hotel! Had a 2/bed 2/ba suite that had not been updated like some of their other suites but was very comfortable and clean. This hotel has a retro vibe of the 60's and is very relaxing and chill enviroment. Great pool area with bbq grills and a jacuzzi with free... More

We stayed here with our family of 5. Great location...near everything but quiet enough to relax. Well suited for families, couples or singles. Loved the decor and the service. Our two bdrm two bath was very spacious and a great value Wish we could have stayed longer.

There are lots of pros to this hotel: a) great location to Scottsdale- walking distance to ballpark, lots of restaurants, b) really great pool area and outdoor space in the evenings, and c) the ability to have a full kitchen. I'd come back for sure if we were with a group of friends & wanted to have a 2 bedroom... More

We purchased our stay on Priceline, so paid 1/2 of what it would cost normally. The room pictures looked great and a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite was just what we were looking for. We did not get a room that was in the pictures, we too were in a room as described earlier that had not been updated. Our bathroom... More

It is still chilly at night here. The hotel is from 1960. Made of bricks. Only the A/C is on. Both can't be on at the same time. Of course, they don't say that anywhere. The decorations are cool but the place is old, specially the kitchen. The oven smelled like food.
